Get rid of hiccups by keeling over with a glass of water and drinking it upside down. This isn't failsafe. And don't forget it involves resting the cup on your upper lip, otherwise you'll just spill water everywhere.
But if you still have hiccups, since you posted that last night, you should see a doctor without delay.
