Interesting hadeeth

Ya’qūb said, my father told us from Ibn Is’hāq, who said Yahyā ibn ‘Urwah ibn az-Zubayr told me from his father from ‘Abdullāh ibn ‘Amr al-‘Ās, who said:

I said to him, “What is the worst act of enmity that the Quraysh had done against the Messenger of Allāh?” He replied, “I went to Al-Hijr one day, and their dignitaries were there talking about the Messenger of Allāh…

So they said, “We never tolerated a man like the way we did Muhammad… He has mocked our elders, cursed our forefathers, criticized our religion, divided our community, and attacked our gods!

All praise is due to Allah, and peace and blessings upon our humble and beloved Prophet, and upon his family and companions.

A companion by the name of Sa'd bin 'Ubada once proclaimed: "If I saw a man with my wife, I would strike him with the sharp edge of the sword." The Prophet (s.a.w), in reply, said to his companions: "Are you astonished by Sa'd's sense of honour?

The Station of Firasah - Imam Ibn Qayyim rahimahullah

Firasah is a sense of visual acumen, perception and insight. Allah says, "Surely! In this are the signs for the mutawassimeen." [15:75]

And with the regard to the meaning of mutawassimeen, here is what some of the great interpreters of the Qur'an said about it: Mujahid said it is "those who have visual acuity". Ibn Abbas said that it means "those who watch closely". Qatadah said that it means "those who learn the lessons". And Muqatel said that it means "those who reflect".

Ibadah and Levels of Love

Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem

Al-'Ibaadah which we are commanded to perform includes the meaning of humility and love, it contains extreme humility before Allah (SWT) together with the extreme love for Him (AWJ). The uppermost level of love is the extreme adoration (Tatayum) and its lowermost level is the interest, because the heart is first interested in the beloved. After the interest comes the affection, then the love, and finally the extreme adoration.

I dnt knw islamically how correct this issue is - there are strong arguments on all sides in regards to it but in our indo-pak culture some people are believed to have some special sense or some ability about the future.

Theres a person I knw.

Since he was little he got feelings and dreams that sooner rather than later come true and it freaks his relatives/friends out. When he was about 7 his maternal grandmother rahmatullahi ta'ala alayha passed away.

Mothers

Im not sure if a thread already exists on this - chances are there does but I cant find it.

You know it never amazes me what stuff mothers are made of. The kids will do anything and everything and still mothers remain there for them, still they love them - even when the child is rude and insolent directly to the mother.

There's a saying in urdu - Maa ki du'a, jannat ki hawa and I think its absolutely true.

Mothers look soo cute when they try and be angry. My mother and me are quite close - I think. Sometimes I joke with her and at the moment my big joke is that Im gonna marry again.
