Then you may as well tell us...

lol.

My Master Sayyidina Yusuf alayhis salaam spent years for rape in the prison.

My Mother Sayyida Aisha radhiyallahu anha was accused of bad action and she was the Wife of Nubuwwat salallahu alayhi wa sallam.

Imam Bukhari alayhi rahmah died in the state that the people viewed him as a deviant.

So it is nothing new that accusations and slander are made on people.

What I find interesting is that a person comes to hear a talk on the Sahabah Karaam and he has not been tauhgt even the basic etiquette of listening attentively to the bayaan, he uses this as an opportunity to sleep.

Further I find it most amusing that some people find this ''scandal'' and have described or alluded to it with much relish. May ALLAH do with you as He pleases.

1stly....i was unaware about any accusations regarding the speaker....feel free to enlighten me if you wish

i came with the intention to listen, not my fault i had been up since 7am, long day at uni followed by football and then a speak straigh after...was kind tired, happens Lol .... and when i tried paying attention, the speaker wasnt the best at capturing my mind IMO.

you obviously will feel for him, dont expect anything less.

but like i said, it was a good talk in general...and i havnt accused or slandered your scholar, nor have i heard anything about him

My writing the word scandal in italics and preceding it with er was as good as placing it in speech marks as you have done.

If I was to relay the rumours I've heard then that would be another thing.

I didnt mean to say you were slandering.

My point was a reminder that we shouldnt believe everything we hear, even the Best of Creations have had lies attributed to them. My point was this and this only.

Mawlana Riyadh ul Haq isnt my scholar, I am not connected with Him.

Even when I rarely be at a place where an alim who is from different maslak to me, I alhamdulillah have the courteousy to listen attentively and in silence etc. This is nothing to do with ''my'' scholar and ''your'' scholar. Its a simple issue, when somene speaks about ALLAH Rasul then we should listen attentively, subhanALLAH, even if a shia talks to me about Quran I walk away but I dont exhibit disrespect there because this is incorrect.

Anyways, you know your situation better than I do.

Ya ALLAH Madad.
Haq Chaar Yaar

yes i do...thankyou

if i didnt want to listen, i could have easily not gone

why would i go otherwise :?

was a long day

Come on bro.

If you had not asked him to come to the talk, I doubt he would have done so.

I think you are overlooking the fact that Hayder showed up even though he was tired and exhausted.

But Hayder can speak for himself, I don't mean to second-guess anything he may or may not say.

its right beast

AND he didnt ask me to go

i was already planning on going

yes i was tired and exhausted and tried to pay attention, but thats not ok for some

i shall go sit in the corner and ponder upon this while munching Halva
