Differences and allowing differences are a strength not a weakness.

This is something that the western world took a further milenium to figure out when after many wars it decided that killing everyone from a slightly different understanding didnt work out too well.

On the other hand, this was allowed by Muslims more or less from the start where differences were tolerated.

"For too long, we have been a passively tolerant society, saying to our citizens 'as long as you obey the law, we will leave you alone'" - David Cameron, UK Prime Minister. 13 May 2015.

Abu Bakr was unanimously chosen as caliph.

Is it true? Is it kind? Is it necessary?

Muslims are not good at that, today a shia alim was killed in KHI and people were on the streets
a few years back in nishtar park a lot of sunni alims were killed again 1 is going to blame the other

In UK some Muslims don't pray at the same Mosque I have seen that with my own eyes

Unity is not having only one opinion, but tolerating the differences.
