Grreat idea, let's look up objectionable quotes...

On second thoughts just thanks for the karma class.

Admin it sounds like you've gone from saying this recent clash was more palestines fault but Israel was at fault too - to it's almost all Israel's fault due to a karmic cycle of violence.

hey the karma bit was abit of a long term thing. Like irony.

(Karma does not exist. It is just a term like poeic justice. It never is just, but it come and gets you big time.)

Ofcourse some idiotic millitants acted well... millitantly, and probably had quite a few innocent palestinians killed in retaliation.

There is frustration at both sides. However there is also anger at israel, as IMO unlike abbas, sharon does have control over his side. However he uses it as a political tool.

There was a likud party rally today to see if his leadership should be challenged. Just beforehand, he acts all macho...

Just ftr please show me who is calling the Likud Central Commitee leadership debate a 'rally'.

rally, debate, ... middle of the night. same thing.

But if you wish...

Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon failed to speak at a meeting of his Likud party, where members were debating the party's leadership.

Mr Sharon took to the stage to address the stormy meeting, but walked out after discovering that his microphone cord had been severed.

Reports say his opponents had deliberately cut the power cable. ...

Karma doesn't exist it is a hindu concept that has no place in either the Christian or Islamic faith - God is your judge, jury and executioner - not some mystical cycle.

Will you at least agree that as a result of Abbas' fraud the Israelis are facing a closer threat from Hamas than they have had to deal with in the past?

We'll get into their rights to defend themselves and how to go about doing that later but I at least want to know if you recognize a threat from Hamas now that it can use gaza as a staging ground.

You got something against the beeb?

Or was that just a normal confirmation?

Hamas pledges end to Gaza rockets

The Palestinian militant organisation Hamas has announced an end to rocket attacks on Israel from the Gaza Strip.

Up to 40 rockets have been fired at Israel in recent days, following Israel's withdrawal from Gaza earlier this month.

In response to the rockets, Israel resumed its policy of targeting militant leaders in air strikes.

An Israeli missile apparently aimed at a road used by militants hit an open area of northern Gaza early on Monday.

One woman was reportedly hurt by shrapnel from the missile which the Israeli military said had targeted a road used by Palestinian rocket squads.

Prime Minister Ariel Sharon earlier authorised "unrestricted" strikes against Palestinian militants. ...

Why should Israel believe them?

Admin,

They are frequently sloppy to say the least as in this regard, journalists choose their words carefully, and I have a lot of issues with them which I won't go into.

Re: bbc, they are better than alot of others. Not to be taken as sole news site though... as always multiple confirms are better than one. but the majority can be wrong aswell, as most news is written by a select few agencies...

Militants 'end West Bank truce'

An al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades leader says the Palestinian militant group will no longer respect a six-month truce after Israeli raids killed three militants.

"There will be no limits to our responses... We need to protect our people," said Zakaria Zubeidi.

Mr Zubeidi speaks for the group only in Jenin, where one of its commanders was killed during an overnight raid. ...

Arafat death probe 'inconclusive'

A Palestinian ministerial inquiry into the death of former leader Yasser Arafat has proved inconclusive, said Prime Minister Ahmed Qurei.

Mr Qurei said that the inquiry found that French and Palestinian doctors could not identify the disease that killed Mr Arafat.

The former Palestinian leader's death was not caused by germs, cancer, poisoning or Aids, said Mr Qurei.

Yasser Arafat died on 11 November 2004 at a French military hospital.

But Mr Qurei added that file on Yasser Arafat's death would not be closed as "there could be medical developments in the future that could determine the cause of his death."

Conflicting reports

Speculation on the cause of Mr Arafat's death has continued in the media with many Palestinians believing that he was poisoned by Israel.

The Israeli government has repeatedly denied any involvement in his death.

The Palestinian leader's wife, Suha, refused to allow an autopsy.

A report published by the New York Times newspaper last month said that Mr Arafat's medical records showed that he died from stroke that stemmed from an unknown condition.

But a book by two Israeli journalists claimed that Mr Arafat's death could have been the result of an infection, Aids or poisoning.

The Lover is ever drunk with love;
He is free, he is mad,
He dances with ecstasy and delight.

Caught by our own thoughts,
We worry about every little thing,
But once we get drunk on that love,
Whatever will be, will be.
