Angel. I bet you want to know the design of those slippers too.

I have absolutely no idea what that holy goat was called.

As you advised me angel, why dont you now create a new thread and someone might tell you the name of the goat. Otherwise you will have to do your own research.

It can't be too difficult to find out what a particular goat was called over a thousand year ago.

Omrow

No you said you love the goat, I am sure you have come across the goat's name somewhere, i just asked you why the beard was not a big issue and you came with "did u know the Holy Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam (Peace and Blessings be upon him) had a goat etc" since your clued up on that, i genuinely want to know the goats name.

Yeh i would like to know the designs of the slippers, after all they are the slippers of the Holy Prophet (saw)...so go on explain.

It's not a particularly impressive house...

Maybe they want to build him a nicer one for when he comes back?

Like that show on ABC where they send you to disney world and build you a new home.

The fact that it is the Holy Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam (Peace and Blessings be upon him) house is impressive enough. They shouldnt have to knock an old buildin down to build a new one!

Constantine Watch your language. You better watch how you talk about Holy Prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam.

I am 19, Omrow I forgot to mention that the last few lines of your penultimate post were also disrespectful regarding the design of the slippers.

It is ignoramus ppl like you who make such statements that you dont even realise their weight.

FYO the weight, colour, size, shape, design, material etc of the slippers are beloved to us and I personally dont think that learning about these details will do anything but good for me.

Also FYO if I regard the Pure Urine of Holy Prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam as a means of cure from ALL diseases, if I regard the manner of istinja an integral part of my life, if i consider the habit of cupping a most important issue then what is it to you if I love the slippers of Nabi salallahu alayhi wa sallam?

Ya ALLAH Madad.

Constantine. This present house is not even the original house of the Prophet.

They have knocked down the home of the Prophet in the past. They have done this to many buildings and sites that are over a thousand years old.

Like the Wahhabi Taliban rulers in Afghanistan, who destroyed the statues of Buddah, the Saudis do not like to preserve things either.

Thanks to Americans who got rid of the Talibans. Now, please finish this war by getting rid of these idiots also.

By the way, Muslims do not believe that Prophet Muhamad is coming back.

It is only two people, Jesus and Mehdi, who are to come.

astagfirullah,,,,,no muslim could even think bout doing such a thing...where do u get all this from omrow

I think their concern is that people will consider it a holy place.

Spot on

~Judgements prevent us from seeing the good that lies beyond appearances.~

"God put me on this earth to accomplish a certain number of things. Right now I am so far behind that I will never die" ~ Bill Watterson

Seems to me a legitimate concern.

God makes places holy - not men.

Muslims do believe Muhammad was a man don't they?

yup. A very special man. The best of mankind.

So - detaching the sentimental and historical value from the house.

Do you see the wahabi fear as legitimate?

well if its the house of the holy prophet mohammed p.b.u.h it surely is a holy place in my case

nope, they just silly ppl who think ppl are goin to worship the birth place of the Holy Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam (Peace and Blessings be upon him)

It is a blessed place because the best creation ever of Allah (swt) was born, it is a place worth being visited again and again.

But Why?

I mean I see the significance of the Kaaba where you say a temple to God was built - or the temple mount. But the only connection this building has is with Muhammad - not God.

It is blessed.

Well if you think bout it our belief is about believing in Allah as one and the Holy prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam (Peace and Blessings be upon him) being the last Prophet, if one doesnt believe in the latter but believes in former then they are not muslim...Also the Holy Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam (Peace and Blessings be upon him) bought the message of Islam so you have to love and respect the messenger Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam (Peace and Blessings be upon him) who bought this message and who told us bout Allah (swt)

How is it possible this is so clear to you and not to the Wahabis?

Yall are working off the same scriptures, traditions, and talking about the same building

Gotcha - forgot about the second part of the sahada. That answers my question - thanks.

On to my new question.

How is it possible the Wahabis don't understand this?

They also think it is blessed...

But there are other motives....

They consider alot of things as wordhip...

and then there are the profits from the potential hotel.

In this world Profits come before prophets every day of the week.

Just sticking to the ecclesiastic arguments.

So they have a more stringent definition of what worship is?

What is their definition as opposed to the rest of yours?

Well I do not fully understand theirs....

But somehow they have managed to get alot of things into shirk (giving a partner to Allah).

Well, some say including birthdays somehow... even to me that is the proof creation...

I will let someone who knows more about it.

Med, do you know more?

If not I will say what i think, and probably insult alot of people through mistakes...

They say pictures are shirk...

Judda apparently.

Can the real salafies please stand up please stand up please stand up.

(They do not like being called wahabbies... they prefer salafi... a twist of Salaf; which were the early pious muslims.)
