and where does it say "you shall avoid any suspicion [b]on a fellow Muslim[/b]". That is the bit I am questioning. Where is this idea "You cannot spy on Muslims" come from? (the specification of "Muslim" in the brief...)
A job for MI5/6 would not be all about spying. You will start off getting the tea. Then you will be promoted to also getting the drinks. Then the lunch. Finally you will get sick of it and quit.

the one REAL story i've heard of someone being a spy, was NOT glamorous nor exciting. i can't even remember where I heard it from.
but...
basically a man was spying during the cold war and was placed in the USSR under a false name and identity. He had to blend in with the local people and gain their trust, so he had to get a job and live in a small town for many, many, MANY years. From time to time he would report back to base in Britain to update them, but he couldn't spend time with his family or friends back home. Any friendships he made in USSR was really a 'sham', because at the end of the day these were his 'enemies' so to speak.
After the cold war finished, he was told to remain in USSR for further reconnaissance work in the same place, and when he eventually came home he had lost his mind. He lived a very private, depressed life, obsessively collecting newspaper cuttings that were in relation to his work. In the end he had so much newspaper, the paper fibres in the air in his home slowly started to shred the insides of his lungs, and he died lonely.

Of course i would! It's not all about the money you know. I’d only work if i enjoyed the actual job itself and the workplace, i’d rather be skint and live of my parents than work somewhere i hate.

Yes and no. It would depend on what job it was.
i know a guy who earns 50k a year through various investments, but works in a call center because he gets bored at home

If I had the option of working somewhere i hated or scrounging off my parents then i would choose working somewhere i hated every time. I think its absolutely disgusting when a guy or girl is old enough and capable enough to find work but rather scrounge off their parents. Your parents have fed you, clothed you, provided shelter, put you through education is it not time we looked after them? Not having a go at you. My younger brother bro gets £30 EMA yet he has still got the cheek to ask my mum for bus fare!

I have a part time job which pays minimum wage. Everybody always says to me why dont you work somewhere that pays better. My answer i like the place and get on with everyone, you dont come across many ppl that respect the fact that you cant do certain things as a result of your religion.

I get EMA but i still ask mum for bus fair, food money etc, in fact, she wants me to save it! As long as your mummy is happy then i don't see what the problem is.

Children will always be children in the eyes of parents regardless of their age.
My dads the same - I get a monthly income now, and whilst he's stopped giving me 'pocket money' - he kicks up a fuss if I bring home a cream cake for tea, insisting that its not my job to bring home any shopping.
I brought mum a coat for over £100 a while ago - and had to tell him that mum paid for it herself, otherwise he'd make me return it.
He doesnt like me spending any of my money.
And regarding working for money - its nice to be able to be in a situation for one can work purely for job satisfaction. Before I became a qualified teacher I worked on a part time voluntary basis in schools for four years - however, not everyone is in a position to work soley for job satisfaction.
At times I'm tempted to sign up for weekend tuition classes and sign up to mark exam papers - there's decent money in that. However, I cant be bothered. There's not as if, there's anything I'm saving up to get.

Noorie you wouldn't last a minute in my house! Not a single minute!! With us, you either earn and spend your own money or you die, lol. Seriously, up until 18 Dad gives us what we need to literally get by and then after that you sort yourself out. Ok my Dad is extremely strict but I do understand some of the resons why he's like that... even though my Dad is very, very, very extreme. My Dad charged my brother 300 quid a month rent before he bought his own house. If you can earn your own money, why take your parents, it's theirs!
Omg, you're joking! If my parents were that strict i would have left the house by now! £300 quid of your bro! That's tite! If parents want to give their children money, i aint going to say no! With my Arabic course i borrowed some money of mum then later on asked her if she wanted it back and she was like no! You're by daughter, if i aint gona give it to you then who is? I was like awww, love you mummy! But when it comes to anything Islamic and money is involved, parents don’t hesitate in giving. It’s all for the deen! Feesabilillah i say to them!
