The Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) Last Sermon
After praising, and thanking Allah he said:
"O People, lend me an attentive ear, for I know not whether after this year, I shall ever be amongst you again. Therefore listen to what I am saying to you very carefully and TAKE THESE WORDS TO THOSE WHO COULD NOT BE PRESENT HERE TODAY.
I was reading Ya'qub's article on the interview with Baba Ali. And I watched some of the videos all again. I like this one. Its funny but at the same time, it leaves with a nice simple message.
For those who are not feeling themselves, need a bit of inspiration, need to do something but cant be bothered, feeling "burnt out" or just feel the need to read something. I need some inspirational to do some very very boring work at the moment and I seem to be finding other "interesting" stuff to do :
THERE may be days when you get up in the morning and things aren’t the way you had hoped they would be.
That’s when you have to tell yourself that things will get better. There are times when people disappoint you and let you down.
To solve any problem or to reach your goal, you don't need to know all the answers in advance. But you must have a clear idea of the problem or the goal you want to reach.
All you have to do is know where you're going. The answers will come to you of their own accord. Don't procrastinate when faced with a big difficult problem, break the problem into parts, and handle one part at a time.
If you can get up the courage to begin, you have the courage to succeed. It's the job you never start that takes the longest to finish. Don't worry about what lies dimly at a distance, but do what lies clearly ahead.
"Sir, What is the secret of your success?" a reporter asked a bank president.
"And, Sir,what are they?"
"And how do you make right decisions?"
"And,sir,What is that?"
"And how do you get Experience ?"
"And, Sir,what are they?"
A man and his son were walking in the forest. Suddenly the boy trips and feeling a sharp pain he screams, “Ahhhhh.â€
Surprised, he hears a voice coming from the mountain, “Ahhhhh.â€
Filled with curiosity, he screams, “Who are you?†but the only answer he receives is: “Who are you?â€
This makes him angry, so he screams, “You are a coward!†and the voice answers, “You are a coward!â€
He looks at his father asking, “Dad, what is going on?â€
“Son,†he replies, “pay attention!†Then he screams, “I admire you!â€
The voice answers, “I admire you!â€
The father shouts, “You are wonderful!†and the voice answers, “You are wonderful!â€
The boy is surprised, but still can’t understand what is going on.
Iv noticed people are putting up poems up as their blogs. I dont understand poems. So Iv decided to put up a nice and simple story, Iv read which Iv found inspirational
Why do we read Quran, even if we can't understand a single Arabic word???? This is a beautiful story.
An old American Muslim lived on a farm in the mountains of eastern Kentucky with his young grandson. Each morning Grandpa was up early sitting at the kitchen table reading his Quran. His grandson wanted to be just like him and tried to imitate him in every way he could.
One day the grandson asked, "Grandpa! I try to read the Quran just like you but I don't understand it, and what I do understand I forget as soon as I close the book. What good does reading the Qur'an do?"
“If God had created man to offer Him prayers there are many angels to do this. Man was created to become human.â€
I like this quote, it makes me happy because it reminds me that we are all human after all and don’t need to be perfect. It reminds me that we can all make mistakes, and the reason is because we are human.
How would everyone else interpret this quote?
And what quotes make you happy? please explain them
