If you change your name, please post here!

Salaam

am I the only one who is finding it tricky to keep account of everyone?

on the old forums, the id was the first username. on here it is numerical, so you have to look at a few posts before figuring it out.

So can all regulars bookmark this topic.

and post their names when they change so its easier to see who is who.

(Unless you change for a reason to hide your identity from potential newcomers... like averoes... erm... I mean enver... what is he called today?)

Hajj and Umra- (and please stick to the topic!!!)
It is compulsory for every Muslim (who is well enough and rich enough) to perform Hajj.

How many people on this forum have done hajj and/or Umra?

Has the experience changed you or do you still feel the same?

What was the hardest part of Hajj/Umra?

Which part did you actually enjoy or did you feel it was one long struggle?

Has any body done Umra during Ramadan?

I disapprove of kissing the Blackstone (along with a million other practises), its pointless, can you imagine what it would be like if EVERYBODY wanted to kiss the black stone!?

ISLAM POSSESSION & JINNS

[b]Salaam

I recently watched The exorcism of emily rose in the cinemas... as you all proably know that the film is based on a true story..

After watching the film i got thinking about jinns and possessions etc.. We've all heard stories about Jinns entering humans particularly back home.

Just wanted to ask what does Islam say about jinns and possession? Can they enter humans and if they can what can we do to prevent such things from happening??

I've heard that Jinns possess people for many reasons.

Networking in the Revival

As most of you know I've been undergoing a lot of stress and problems with my ex boyfriend and family situation. My boyfriend is out of the picture, I'm in pain but will get over it but my parents are driving me crazy! They want me to get married now as I'm getting near the "sell by date" (I'm 24  ). I can never marry any of the desi's that they wish to set me up with. I want to do it properly this time, but MY way. I've been reading the messages on this forum for years. But I never posted as a member (I used to post as a guest). I find you all funny, clever, religious people.
