the first pakistan bowler to bowl inswinging yorkers and use reverse swing
was SAFRAZ NAWAZ he played from 1969- 1984
excellent opening bowler , he was only the 3rd pakistani to take 100 test wickets and score 1000 test runs, his finest hour was agaisnt australia i March 15, 1979 at Melbourne, he bowled a memorable spell to take nine wickets in an innings. He dismissed seven batsmen while conceding one run from 33 balls, fine player.
he then past on his knowledge of reverse swing to IMRAN KHAN, who passed it on to the great WASIM and WAQAR
do not question my cricket knowledge you will lose

do you sing with your fellow supporters, throw abuse and swears at rival fans , then go down the pub to celebrate your victory, or have a good old football style fight with rival fans
yeah man good sport to follow
how many english born muslims have ever played for england?
actaully how many english born muslims have played for the premiership?
wait there are there any english born muslims in any division?

i wont label cricket fans, that would be silly of me
how many english born brazilians have played for england? whats your point bro!!
admittedly it can be a lil racist - but sometimes u gotta think....we are outnumbered, bound to be more non-muslims compared to muslims - hence the less chance of one getting thru
AND
how many of us take it seriously?
btw...Zeshan Rehman plays for Fulham, England under 20....and now captain of the Pakistani football team
so that answers all your questions
oh, and my cousins mate played for Huddersfield last season, dont know where he is now!- Adnan something

I prefer to maintain silence on this issue. But according to what I have seen alhamdulillah there has been a positive change in the team overall.
Someones comment on 10 foot beards was inapprpriate. Such people would be wise to remember neither has any1 kept a 10 foot beard, and that the length of his beard was full in accordance with divine law and also the Blessed Sunnah.
It appears tantamount to making a mockery at a sunnah.
We should seek ALLAH's refuge in abusing mocking or debasing the sunnah.

10 foot beards?!
k, u knw ur situation better than I do. Personally I bin taught by my Ustaads not to make any derogatory remark about any sunnah. We are forbidden to say one word that is deemed disrespect, alhamdulillah respect is something our Ustadji speaks a lot about, unfortunately an ingrate such as myself has not learnt any.
A case in point is that one student came back from Saudia and visited us in madrassah. During the course of his meeting with us he mentioned something to that was not good about one person in Madinah. Immediately the ustaad who was present at that time stood up and said to the boy that he cannot sit with someone who makes even one criticism of a Madani. And the Ustad left, we followed.
Some might say this is extremism this is arrogance blah blah blah but I was there , I saw the hurt that the Ustad felt at such a comment about one pakistani who became a madani and he couldnt tolerate that a neighbour of Nabi Muhammad salallahu alayhi wa sallam have such a comment made about him.
If there was any good in me, I too would have benefitted from the ulama and learnt a small portion of adab but it is my own unfortunate state that I have not learnt anything.

I remember the world cup couple of years ago
BOY were Pakiland humilated BIG TIME by Australia
it was a shameful defeat
it was sad
but you are forgetting the fact PAKISTAN REACHED THE FINAL
there no shame in being number 2 in the world
and theres no shame in losing to australia they were simply the best in the world
as a true fan i was proud that pakistan reached the finals with such a young team, anyways lets not dwell on the past but look to the future
as pakistan once again look like world beaters
Yes Pakistan did reach the final
but it wasnt even a CLOSE match
the defeat was embarrassing
I remember being teased in school cos I suported Pakiland
its no shame in being 2nd
but there is shame in losing the way they did
im sorry you got teased for it, may be thats why your so bitter
but let it go, its gone
next world cup 2007
bring it on ! twisted
