Salaam

Kids are absolutely everything to their parents. And their main source of happiness and grief.

If ones kids are good it’s as if they have absolutely everything….and if ones kids have gone astray its as if they’ve lost everything.

I spent a week with close family who were badly stressed out cos of their kids.

They were always moaning and complaining and having visits from people in the community who were complaining about their kids.

Having good, decent obedient children is a blessing.

my seven year old sister is so annoying

some annoying friend of mine kept on calling home

I asked my older sister to answer the phone and tell her that I aint home-she wouldnt do it

so I got my younger sister to do it

she gives it "hello Madheia says she aint home" so I pulled her pony tale so she says into the phone "Oi why are u pulling me pony tale didnt u tell me that when she calls to tell her that u aint at home cos she's does ur head in and chats rubbish all the time"?

I grabbed the phone of her and chased her round the house and she hid behind my sister

but u know what MORE annoying-

the lil Madam didnt do this out of innocence she goes "I wanted to teach u a lesson- didnt u know its gunaaaah to lie"

she's so self rightous sumtimes-and she's SUCH grass

we're trying to teach her that in our house-brothers and sisters dont grass one another up

awwwww that is the most cutest thing, i would have kissed her for that!! obviously your mums done her job right mashallah

yeh mum works very hard on the girl

she was happily covering her head daily to school since she was six

but she's a tad bit too self rightous at time which makes her an annoying grass

going to take my baby sister to watch "charlie and the Chocolate factory" today

cant wait-I loved that book as a little girl

my lil sister asked my sister if we can sit in the back row-my sister said we can but then asked her "why"

lil sis gives it "cos we can kiss and hug in the back row"

my sister throws a pillow on my head and asks me "u been teaching her bad stuff again?"

I swear I didnt-God knows where Kids pick up such rude things

i bet it was her friends in school

I dnt have kids but I find my cousins kids REALLY annoying.

They are so spoilt. There is no way that I will spoil my kids like they do inshaALLAH.

Agreed kids are sponges but when the things they soak up are lewdness and songs and dances from their parents its not a positive sign for the future. I was reading a biography of Hazrat Shaykh Mawlana Muhammad Zakariya Kandhlawi of India and his father Mawlana Yahya Sahib put A LOT of effort into bringing the son up right.

Ofcourse Hazrat Mawlana Yahya Sahib also brought his daughter up with the utmost care and responsibility. I only mentioned the son because the autobiography is about the son.

But yes it is amazing the way that entire family brought their kids up. Hazrat Shaykh ul Hadeeth Mawlana Muhammad Zakariya Sahib also brought his kids - sons and daughters - up in a beautiful fashion.

But a thing to note is that Hazrat Mawlana Yahya passed away when Mawlana Zakariya Sahib was around 20 and his sister wsa even younger. It is a credit to Hazrat Mawlana Zakariya Sahib as well that he cared for his sister after the demise of Hazrat.

we went to someones Ameen yesterday and got terrorised by the son of in their family

and check this-HE WAS SIX YEARS OLD

he was such a little terror-

he decided that he wanted me, my sister and my cousin to come on the bouny castle with him

we werent exactly dressed to be jumping on bouncy castles

so he decided to chase us around the house-

I cant beleive that we were being bullied by a six year old boy-

my cousin wears glasses and he threatened to "smash her glasses in"

he tried to provoke my sister into getting into a physical fight with him-when she refused he was calling her a chicken

in the end after being abused and threatened and pushed around by a lil boy we got all the lil girls to jump on him, pin him to the ground and make him cry

I cant handle naughty boys at all-nor could his own mum

my brother was a little terror too-he used to bang his big head against the wall in his fits of anger when he never got his own way

he's pulled my hair and broken many bones of mine in the past

the only reason he's now calm is cos he's recived SO many beats from dad in the past

I love kids but I hope I never have any boys

oh c'mon, theyre not all that bad! kids will be kids, boys or girls. girls cry more as kids!

The Lover is ever drunk with love;
He is free, he is mad,
He dances with ecstasy and delight.

Caught by our own thoughts,
We worry about every little thing,
But once we get drunk on that love,
Whatever will be, will be.

I dont know about the above, i know i have 2 nephews and they're a handful on their own. Dnt know how their mother does it.

The lil one is ok but can be a lil moody, but if you get him going he's a screamer. His elder brother is an absolute nightmare. Runs amok where ever he is. When he came over he would stop punching. After a while it became too annoying to ignore  so i gripped his hand and applied a wrist lock (a simply jujitsu move causing the person to fall to their knees) i only released him if he promised to go bother some1 else.

I think its usually the elder son/daughter who get spoiled and as a result turn into a little terror who always wants his own way.

perhaps, but in my exp its always been the eldest who gets spoilt.
But the youngest gets the most love.... if you can measure love like that... well you cant... but you know what i mean.

it bugs me when parents dont keep their kids under control

his mum SAW that he was terrorising us

he was swearing as well

i would have LITERALLY washed his mouth out with soap and slapped him one

instead we just got all the lil girls under 7 to pinn him down and beat him till he cried

and they did-they too were tired of being pushed around by him

(btw do u know in Pakiland people do "Bismillah's" which is a function when a kid is about to START the quran)

my lil sis is SO funny

whenever she really really loves sumin-she wants to "marry it"

the girl LOVES mango's-last night she was eating some and was saying to dad

"daddy PLEASE get me married to mango's-I love them so much" Biggrin

"angel" wrote:

Im not nasty... i just think the kid needs to learn self-control and respect for other people, the spoilt little so and so. He's about 6/7ish...

I've heard of an Ameen, considering i had one when i was like.... 9/10 something like that.

Sounds cute.

My niece tells everyone that she wants to marry her "daddy" when she's older.

Her dad loves her a lot more than he loves his sons and i think its good to see fathers so close to their daughters.

My sisters were too scared to talk in a friendly manner to my dad when they were younger and as a result my father harldy knows anything about them, its my mum who understands them inside out.

A question to all the male members of the revival (the ladeez can answer this as well)...

What do you like your first born child to be... a girl or a boy?

I would like a girl and so would my future wife but she says that its good if a boy comes first so that he can keep an eye on his sisters as he'ss be more in touch with them because of the age gap.

My grandfather gets so disappointed when a girl is born into the family, as much as i respect him... i hate him for thinking like that.

I'm his eldest grandson-his pride and joy and I hope i have a girl first so I can celebrate the fact and show to him that girls are just a precious if not more then boys.

what about the rest of you?

girl cuz they are simply more adorable than boys!

My dad was like that too. We couldn’t talk to him and would groan at the thought of him being home off work.

He was strict and always kept his distance with us….mum befriended and understood us all inside out.

My youngest sister who is now 7 had it different for some reason…I guess men become soft in their old age. Ever since she was born he’s mellowed out extremely….she’s never ever been told off, she’s been showered with his love and attention, she even gets away with ordering him about …in fact dad stays up all night long on the nights that she’s sick whilst mum sleeps….that’s why my little sister is crazy about him.

It’s sad that dad never established a strong relationship with us when we were kids….now even when he is nice or buys us stuff or shows us love and affection we find it awkward.

I’d love for my first child to be a little girl….girls are so sweet and affectionate and are such a pleasure to bring up. I also would want to be close to her and make her my best mate like mum did with me…

I only want one - a girl - They are more interesting.

If I have a boy then I would want 2 - preferrably the second being a girl.

If that doesn't work out i'll just give up.

Someone here asked the question: What do you like your first born child to be... a girl or a boy?

Anyway,

Do us all a favour.

When she registers here, please ask her not to call herself muslimsislilsislisis.

Furbal III would do.
