The Quran at Surah 29, Aya 27, admits that prophet Mohammad (PBHU) could not be a prophet since it stipulates that prophets will come in the line of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Mohammad (PBUH), according to Muslims, came in the line of Ishmael, which means he could not be a prophet and Mohammad was not related to Ishmael.
Also, Genesis 17:21-22, says God made a covenant with Isaac, NOT Ishmael. Deuteronomy 18:18 states that only a "brethren" of the Israelites, as in a fellow Israelite, could be the prophet.
why did u put this up? :/
"Verily, in the remembrance of Allah, do hearts find rest"
Because it's interesting
My English is not very good
how?!
"Verily, in the remembrance of Allah, do hearts find rest"
Where does it mention exclusivity?
Remember that all nations had prophets sent to them, not just the Isrealites.
As for what genesis says, since we cannot vouch for its authenticity, it doesnt matter what it says.
"For too long, we have been a passively tolerant society, saying to our citizens 'as long as you obey the law, we will leave you alone'" - David Cameron, UK Prime Minister. 13 May 2015.
(Sura al Ankabut (Irfan ul Quran)
25. And Ibrahim (Abraham) said: ?You have taken up the worship of idols leaving Allah merely for the sake of mutual friendship in the life of this world. Then, on the Day of Resurrection, (each) one of you will deny (the friendship of) the other and (each) one of you will curse the other. And Hell is your abode and there will be no helper for you.
26. Then Lut (Lot) believed in him (Ibrahim [Abraham]) and he said: ?I am migrating towards my Lord. Surely, He is Almighty, Most Wise.?
27. And We blessed him with Ishaq (Isaac) and Ya?qub ([Jacob], a son and a grandson,) and We ordained Prophethood and the Book in Ibrahim?s (Abraham?s) descendants. And We gave him his reward (here) in this world, and surely he is amongst the most pious in the Hereafter (as well).
Why didn't you post the exact verse, and the verses before it? Where is Almighty God saying that the Holy Prophet (SAW) isn't a Prophet?
Pay heed to this part of the ayah "We ordained Prophethood and the Book in Ibrahim?s (Abraham?s) descendants."
The Prophet Muhammad came from the family of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) because of a du'aa he made, which is mentioned in the Quran.
Surah Baqarah:
127. And (recall) when Ibrahim and Isma?il (Abraham and Ishmael) were raising the foundations of the Ka?ba (praying:) ?O our Lord, accept this (humble service) from us. You are, indeed, All-Hearing, All-Knowing.
128. O our Lord! Make both of us submissive to Your command; and raise out of our future generations an Umma (Community) exclusively obedient to You; and teach us our ways of worship (and Pilgrimage) and turn to us (with mercy and forgiveness). Verily, it is You Who are Most Relenting, Ever-Merciful.
129. O our Lord! Raise up from amongst them the (Last and the Exalted) Messenger (Muhammad [blessings and peace be upon him]), who shall recite to them Your Revelations, and teach them the Book and wisdom (logic and good judgment, making them gnostics of the divine secret), and purify and sanctify (their hearts and ill-commanding selves). Certainly, You alone are All-Mighty, All-Wise.?
Allah Almighty loved this du'aa so much that He (SWT) preserved the place where Prophet Ibrahim (AS) made this du'aa. It is the place we know as Maqam-e-Ibrahim and everyone who does umrah must pray 2 Nawafil behind the maqam. This is the only footprint of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) that Allah Almighty preserved and will remain til the end of time.
Who is described by God in this passage
Deuteronomy 18 : 17 -18
And the YHVH (Lord) said unto me
Moses they have well spoken that which they have spoken
DEU 18:18 I will raise them up a prophet from among their brethren like unto thee and will put my words in his mouth and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.
All past prophets are from Jewish bloodline and priests from Levite tribe
There is no prophet from the Ishmaelite bloodline so Mohammed (PBUH) can’t be an exception out of the blue unless there is a sign given to him as Moses and Jesus [brethren] means brothers. Moses was a Hebrew born in Egypt and was almost killed by the Pharaoh when he was a new born
Exodus 2:1
And there went a man of the house of Levi and took a wife a daughter of Levi
Exodus 2:2 And the womwn convened and bore a son and when she saw him he was a goodly child – she hid him three months
Exodus 3:3 And when she could no longer hide him she took for him an ark of bulrushes and daubed it with slime and with pitch and put the child there in and she laid it in the flags by the river’s brink
Exodus 2:9 And Pharaohs daughter said unto her take this child away and nurse it for me and I will give thee the wages and the women took the child and nursed it
Exodus 2:10 And the child grew and she brought him unto Pharaohs daughter and he became her son and she called him Moses, she said because I drew him out of the water, Jesus was born in Bethlehem and was almost killed by king Herod so Joseph and marry brought the child Jesus to seek refuge in Egypt
Mat 2:3 And when they were gone an angle of the lord appeared to Joseph in a dream and said to him arise and take the child and his mother and flee into Egypt and be there until I tell thee for Herod will seek for the child, to destroy it
Mat 2:14 Then Joseph arose took the child and his mother by night and fled to Egypt
[note both Jesus and Moses are identical in their child hood experience identical in their ministry and preformed many miracles in their life
Mohammed (PBHU) did NOT come from the Levite tribe and is not considered brother of Moses who was a Hebrew, Mohammed (PBHU) was from Quraish tribe whom the Hebrew never conceded as brothers
Abraham is a Hebrew
Gen 14:13 and there came one that has escaped Abram the Hebrew
Moses a Hebrew
Gen 39:14
That she called unto the men of her house and spoke unto them saying: see he has brought in a Hebrew unto us
Jesus was Jewish and king of the Jewish. Hebrew is a language
John 19:19 And Pilate wrote a title and put it on the cross and the writing was Jesus of Nazareth the king of the Jewish
Esther 2:5 Now in shushan the palace there was a certain Jew whose name was Mordecai, the son of Jair the son of Shimei the son of Kish, a Benjamite
Although the Arabs and Jewish are from the same ancestry
Abraham the promise of everlasting kingdom was given to the Jewish and not to the Arabs
2 pet 1:1 For thus will entrance be given you abundantly into the ever lasting kingdom of our lord and redeemer Jesus the Messiah
Heb 1:8 But unto the son [Jesus] he saith thy throne O God is for ever and ever lasting kingdom a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of the thy kingdom
The Hebrew name of a true God is yhvh or Yahwa and not Allah, Allah is the Arabic name for God Yahwa is found thousands of times in Hebrew Tanakh Bible
Jesus is the lord, lord in Aramaic is Marya which means lord and yah means name of a singular God so the title of Jesus is lord yhvh
My English is not very good
Really. Why are you quoting the Bible?
"How many people find fault in what they're reading and the fault is in their own understanding" Al Mutanabbi
can you reply to my post please?
Because this is someone who has pretended to be Muslim in order to see how we operate and now wants to convert us all?
"For too long, we have been a passively tolerant society, saying to our citizens 'as long as you obey the law, we will leave you alone'" - David Cameron, UK Prime Minister. 13 May 2015.

What from the grave?
where in any of these translation does it say that prophethood will go down this particular line aka Ibrahim->Isaac->Ya'qoob (peace be upon them all)?
nowhere. so now change the title of this misleading topic please.
Is it true? Is it kind? Is it necessary?

Is it true? Is it kind? Is it necessary?
It says that he proclaimed himself as the Mehdi or messianic redeemer of the Islamic faith. His proclamation came during a period of widespread resentment among the Sudanese population of the oppressive policies of the Turco-Egyptian rulers,
Thinking of Ahmed do you believe in Mirza Ghulam Ahmed as a Prophet?
My English is not very good
you have said so many things which wold suggest ur not muslim this has got to be the most pathetic. the funny thing is u cant pull the wool over allah's eyes try as u may to fool us. none of us wold outrightly state what u are, just in case u are psychotically and are actually muslim, and who cares about ur ethnicity u were asked about r beliefs not which flag u wave.
“O my people! Truly, this life of the world is nothing but a (quick passing) enjoyment, and verily, the hereafter that is the home that will remain forever.” [Ghafir : 39]

“O my people! Truly, this life of the world is nothing but a (quick passing) enjoyment, and verily, the hereafter that is the home that will remain forever.” [Ghafir : 39]
Your logic is going to lead you astray, do not attempt to interpret quran without true knowledge.
i havent got the slightest idea what you're talking abt.
Is it true? Is it kind? Is it necessary?
I was talking about Prophet Ahmed
Muhammad Ahmad bin Abd Allah
My English is not very good
Liking that from youu
Peace (don't know if you're a muslim),
Firstly, we don't care what the Bible with all its porn and massacring children says.
Take a look at this verse;
Say, "We have believed in Allah and in what was revealed to us and what was revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and the Descendants, and in what was given to Moses and Jesus and to the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and we are Muslims [submitting] to Him." [ Quran 3:84]
And that pretty much kills your arguement in one go.
