Writers block...

....is just soooo frustrating.

I have an urge to immerse myself in writing something but can't think of anything interesting to write about.

Anyone got any ideas for characters or storylines?

You want to write yourself into a story?

Storys usually start with what ifs? Like what if you didnt go to college? What if you met an alternate reality Rawry who was evil and tried to switch places with you... something like that.

Another way is to create a character you want to torture and then torture the character through multiple situations.

this time i checked the name and it was You, so i can... 0.0 an..hmm..insight..into Admin's mind?

Is it true? Is it kind? Is it necessary?

its a good technique, but it can make the character be too powerful.

You create character X and then wonder what it would do in situation Y with complication Z.

Thanks for making it sound so depressing and systematic that you've completely put me off the idea

Lol

Erm...you could always use the situations people put up here about their personal lives and use it to your advantage and make it more interesting.

You're welcome.

Now what do you plan to do with all that time I have freed up for you?

I approve of/endorse this message.

On the other hand, what of a person who has lived a thousand years in this world? do you think such a person will have an interesting story?

who would want to live that long?! o.o

Is it true? Is it kind? Is it necessary?

Now that is a question to explore...

... and you can add to it, make the person one of a kind, and also someone who does not age, so it still youthful in looks.

(Rawrrs may remember the concept from a couple of years ago.. "forever young")

I did that remember, the first time you suggested it? With Dr Iain?

yup, but you didn't jump forward a thousand years to see the consequences. Not that you have to.

My writers block ahs unblocked

Ive found that u can be inspired by anything
ive been listening to talk shows
and that has got me jotting things down n forming articles
so
u wont just suddenly get an idea to write something
u have to be in an environment which will get your creative juices flowing

Write a story about a bunch of school kids who start to hear voices in the wind when the walk past this park clsoe to school. Then have the voices be coming from the trees and the spirits that live in the park warning of the coming demon invasion. About a third of the way through as it seems like the kids are way out of their league, have them develop superpowers. Ramp up the tempo as all out battle ensues, then have an emotional scene where one of the kids gets taken down and is near dseath. Then have all of theother guys work together to save the kid and defeat the demons.

Or if you prefer, something about a druggie living on the street who hears ghosts when hbe shoots up.

Gentleness and kindness were never a part of anything except that it made it beautiful, and harshness was never a part of anything except that it made it ugly.

Through cheating, stealing, and lying, one may get required results but finally one becomes
