do you think? I think he's trying to say we should never forget those in Palestine and what they are going through. Support them through helping them financially by providing them humanitarian aid....

I havent watched the video.
But I know that people elsewhere suffer too.
Did he mention anywhere else?
Or is Palestine his buzzword and bandwaggon to jump on to?

"Honourable people don't do anything in the name of honour." You, circa January 2011 "Be good, do good and God will help you."
I think it's a real shame that Daily Mail readers are so vocal about "People elsewhere suffer too" and then stop there and don't go on to mention where exactly they would like to shine the spot light while we're on the topic of suffering.
It's almost like they're saying "yeah those guys are suffering, so what, get over it."
There is probably over 75million places on this little planet that need a mention, but if you were to list them all everytime you're going to mention one of them, the video clip would be 3 hours longer and no one will watch it fully.
Or, you may argue, that he could just say "all the places where suffering is taking place" rather than just mention this one place, but then it's not personal. It don't have the desired / required impact to get someone to do something about it.
This chap obviously feels passionate about a certain region and is voicing his views on it. If YOU feel passionate about the people "elsewhere" go sing about it...!!!! But don't try to put down people voicing their opinion about Palestine....
