‎5 Things YOU can do to help Palestine:

  1. Educate yourself about the history of Palestine. Don't be fooled by the media today.
  2. Raise the voice for Palestine and expose the Israeli war crimes on Facebook, Twitter, media outlets and everywhere you can.
  3. Lobby your MP to get our government to condemn the destruction of Gaza and call for the killings to end.
  4. Donate to all registered charities who are helping those affected in Gaza.
  5. Attend demos and protests against the Israeli destruction of Gaza and the Israeli occupation of Palestine.

Now this is what i call realistic Smile

*An fascinating discussion is worth comment. I think that you ought to write more on this subject, it might not be a taboo topic but typically men and women are not enough to speak on such topics. To the next. Cheers

We need a someone to do a template for point three and a list of names and addresses we can send the letter to.

It would be most helpful.

And takers?

Titanium

Can I buy you a coffee?

This new found fervour for the slaughter of people is admirable , its a matter of some concern that this fervour was nowhere to be found when Assad has been killing his own citizens for well over a YEAR!!

Where were the lobby protests to MP s then ?

No wide spread marches then on the streets of london

No marches after the suicide bombers of 7/7

Yet the stop the war marched over a million people when it came to Iraq

Could it be that arab killing arab or muslim killing muslim is no biggie yet jew killing muslim is MASSIVE news

As for lobbying your mp I suggest you do something constructive like ask him/her about the economy or unemployment or education

By education I dont mean the kind you get in madrassas in waziristan but techincal education that will alow you to liberate your mindset from medieval tribal Arabia

Very constructive??? You thing they really give a damn about keyboard warriors on facebook or another march???

Amazing, really amazing. How about backing the mujahideen for once.

You forgot the most important and easiest thing any one can do : Pray for them and every single oppressed muslim in Tahajjud.

And ask for forgiveness for ourselves and the ummah.

The other week before the recent attacks, Ustadh Usama Canon said something which really hit me -  paraphrased- "what if it's our sins that cause the ummah to be attacked/ be in the situation they/we are in."

After all we are one ummah, and if one part messes up the rest will be affected.

And we will get what we deserve if we're not following Islam etc etc

So I take it thats a no then ?

So you would consider 72 virgins a reward ? Seems to me it would be a mixed blessing

Imagine the endless nagging

Not to mention the energy reserves you would need to presumably enjoy aforementioned 72 virgins !

I think its best you stick to the real world.

Narrated Anas (R.A.): The Prophet (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) said, "A single endeavor (of fighting) in Allah's Cause in the afternoon or in the forenoon is better than all the world and whatever is in it. A place in Paradise as small as the bow or lash of one of you is better than all the world and whatever is in it. And if a houri from Paradise appeared to the people of the earth, she would fill the space between Heaven and the Earth with light and pleasant scent and her head cover is better than the world and whatever is in it." [Al-Bukhari volume 4, book 52, number 53]

In book by the great Imam Ghazzali: Ihya Uloom Ed-Din. Volume 4, Page-4.430;

"According to Prophet Muhammad (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) the Hurs (Houris) of Paradise will be pure women—free of menstruation, urine, stool, cough and children. The Hurs will sing in Paradise on divine purity and praise—we are most beautiful Hurs and we are for the honored husbands. Muhammad also said that an inmate of Paradise will have the sexual strength of 70 men. Muhammad said, "An inmate of Paradise will have 500 Hurs, 4,000 unmarried women and 8,000 widowed women. Each of them will keep embracing him for the duration of his whole worldly life."

So basically you are being a devout muslim so that in the afterlife you get lots on virginsand widows  who have inumerbale desire to be ravished by you and of course they dont have any physical waste products because they are not actually alive ?

Well if this keeps you going then great , we must all take the path we believe to be the right one , good luck explaining this concept to your mother or sister though ....

In fact what does the wise Titanium have to say about it ?

Care not what Titanium has to say, care about what Allah and his Rasool (SAW) have to say.

Two different Abu's arguing above?

@ Abu and Abu Leave me out of it. I'm not wise. At All. I've known wiser people. They tick me off therefore I don't know them any more. I'm just weird like that.

Aye.

I still don't get why...?

I think there was a moment yesterday when I wanted to say "yes, lets have a coffee together" just to see what you'd do or say next because it was such a weird request. However since yesterday I decided against it.

I never brought you into it, Abu did, and far as coffee is concerned I don't drink any. I think you should make the guy happy, go have a cuppa coffee with him, you never know what might just develop.

Thats fine I totally respect your decision .Its a shame because I think I would have enjoyed articulating what my beliefs are and would have been intersted to see how yours matched up however it was an unusual request but sometimes great things happen from trivial beginnings ..

Just for the record I have no thoughts about sharing a cup of caffeine with the sycophantic rabid wahhabi that is my namesake on this blog....

I think he will find his just reward soon ....

Indeed Allah is most just. May Allah guide us all, Ameen.

I am calling myself AbuM now, happy??

I am the only sane Abu so wont be hard to distinguish. I follow quran and sunnah, none of the modernist crap or pro zionism.

Thank you very very very much. That will hopefully make things clearer for myself and the rest of The Revival users. Do you not want to create an account? It's much easier, in my opinion.
