* cherish close/imediate family more
* cherish friends more
* no more making a foul of oneself
* no more getting used

plenty others. but i like the first two more. It makes you realise the value of what you have.

if its a tiff in the older/parents generation, you can try and limit it to there and keep contact etc.

and yes, it can be big and important, especially if you are close.

Talk to her about it and if she doesn't care then maybe you should stop caring so much too.. it sounds selfish but when you don't care things are a whole lot easier
