Hey that A1000 is a brill phone.

However all XDA's are bigger than it. A1000 size is the largest I am willing to have. And its not that big. its tiny when compared with other smart phones, especially those frm motorola.

It is alot smaller that the XDA2, and the P910.

I had a sony previously (J70), and I liked the jog dial navigation. tyhat is the reason I may consider the p990. HOWEVER, they have reduced the size of the screen! The only use of a big phone is the massive screen, so that counts against it.

XDA Exec is too big...

... and A1000 has built in GPS reciever.. whioch none of the other bigger smart phones have. They all use the network stuff, which IMO is not as good.

...and D600 has alot of nifty features. 30fps recording. you can navighate on the tv insead of looking on yor screen. We had samsung around about a week ago. He showed us it recording video, while playing it through a projector: good image quality. It has alot of features.

I am almost a gadget freak... I am too sensible with my money to go all the way...
But I waste alot of money on semi-luxuries... catch a taxi if i cannot be bothered with the bus... etc... I need to control that, and buy the gadgets...

them and the motorolas really limit your capabilties

my xda2i has TomTom 5

d600 is same as d500.........and i jave a d500 and ive seen the d600

slightly diff button arrengement and bigger screen......2mp camera, besides that exact same!! i browsed thru both phone menus comparing them as well

Aphrodite? unfortunately she left... for very good reasons at that. Certain members bickering and childish behavior really turned her off.

We jumped ship together but i'm not a very good swimmer.

Yea I really miss Latifah and Shabana - they have totally disappeared.

I miss Aphrodite too but we email each other (she's a sort of sound board/mentor/somebody who puts up with my general "me-ness" ... patient gal)

And Latifah is indescribable.

She is Bosnian and her family was decimated by the war and ethnic cleansing but she doesn't have a violent bone in her body. Really calm - very understanding, down to Earth. One of the most interesting people I have ever had the fortune of meeting (if one can say that of somebody they chat with online). She is a true diamond wherever she is.

Last I checked they were both getting anihilated with school.

Too bad you didn't get to meet either of them - you would instantly understand why the forum isn't quite "the same" for a lot of people.

Another thing, you know with the D750i I get a measly 10sec video recording time at a time. Thats nothing..can I increase the time somehow? And how do I transfer recordings onto a computer-Is it via bluetooth?
