Maybe we should create a sports thread like we did on the old forum, so those who don't want to read about footie don't have to. That thread had a lot of pages to it! Though it was mainly me, St. George (where's he?) and Yuit posting most of the footie stuff...

Oh did anyone watch the mighty Manchester United beat Pompey yesterday? Have some of that Arsenal! Unfortunately, Chelsea won yet again! Do remember who ended their 40-game unbeaten run though.
Ps, Yuit, I take you still like '(Quote: Yuit:) 'boring' Chelsea still? Do Arsenal no longer play (Quote: Yuit:) 'classy' football? Oh, I 'forgot': you're a Villa fan aren't you? Still, 2 words: Doncaster Rovers.
Still, we've got a big game against Benfica!
Yuit best still be a poster on here or I'll be talking to myself. (something I do often though)

Anyway, nice to see this place is like the good old times (with a few new faces and a few gone tho)

Ok.
Don't just watch the news on ITV.
If you read the two excellent reports by BBC's Wheeler, and one by
Assinder, you would have noticed they are suggesting that there was a lot of hanky panky going on.

not just his standpoint on such things, but he came across as SO incapable of the job - he was sweating like anything, as tho he was really nervous and in stark contrast, David Davis was calmly speaking and answering questions. Cameron barely has any experience in this field... looks like the Conservatives just voted him for the 'young look' to their party.

I've read the Assinder and Wheeler articles. They just outline his unexpected rise to the top. Nothing much about the election specifically.
