14 Pillars of Prayer

pillars of PRAYER (not Islam, thank you TPofS) if you miss any of them out, for whatever reason, then the prayer is invalid. and missing any pillar cannot be compensated by thr sujood of distraction. You have to redo the prayer.

  1. standing
  2. opening takbeer - Takbiratul Ihraam
  3. Reciting Suratul Fatihah
  4. Rukoo'
  5. Rising from Rukoo'
  6. Sujood on seven bones
  7. Rising from Sujood
  8. Sitting calmly between sujoods
  9. Being tranquil and calm during each pillar
  10. Doing the pillars in order
  11. The Last Tashaahud
  12. Sitting during the last Tashahud
  13. Sending Salaah and salaam on nabi (pbuh)
  14. The Final Tasleem

so, as Power of Silence said. there is more HARAAM then HALAAL in the concert. so its bad for you.

and there's a MAJOR difference between eating and going to a concert. there's nothing haraam with eating (except if eating haram stuff or overeating and stuff like that) and he wasnt doing anything wrong coz it was still time to pray and he was ONHIS WAY TO PRAY. (not on his way to a concert)

and you act childish, so people are going to treat you childish-ly; you just reduced your swimming time from THREE HOURS to FIVE MINUTES. thats just beng dramatic. Allah did not make this any hardship in this religion, you're just making them up.

okay what if your on your way to a pool 30 minutes by car, and you want to swim 1 hour, but youll miss the asr prayer. now what?

dont go to a pool???

what if every pool, park, mall, ANYPLACE has nowhere to pray.

The Prophet of Allah ﷺ said:

When Allah Almighty created the heaven and the hell, He asked Jibraeel to go and take a look at what He has prepared for believers in the Heaven. Jibraeel went and had a look at what was there in the Heaven, and then he came back and expressed himself thus: By your dignity! Whoever will hear of this Heaven will certainly strive for it. Then it was said that the road to the heaven is littered with hardships, and Jibraeel was asked to take another look at the Heaven. This means that the heaven is such a magnificent place that whoever knew of it would certainly strive for it, but when Allah Almighty ordained that the Heaven lies in facing trials and tribulations, Gibraeel (AS) thought that nobody might be able to enter it.

i've prayed in trafalger square in central london before. and in the park.

my friend prayed at royal albert hall during the intermission to a concert.

and swimming pools have lots of areas where people don't wear shoes at all.

and there is such thing as a mosque.

nobody cares, its the points we're making which are important, or being easily understood by each other.

which is why i feel left out when you write messages in urdu, in fact as Muslims we're not supposed to whisper when someone else is in the room, because they might feel uncomfortable, even if you're not talking about them or being rude. same applies for foreign languages, afaik.

(that means 'as far as I know')

anyway, back to topic, perhaps? providing we can remember what it was...

yep basically never miss a prayer.ever.

went iceskating tuesday. we had to meet at shool at 1pm which iis basically dhuhr time. (well 12.55pm) but we just went and prayed quick as ever and we actually left to go to the rink at 1.30 so we could have taken our time.
then i get back to school at 4 which is already asr time, but cant p

yaa Allah...my whole paragraph got deleted....

okay, innalillahi wa inna ilayhi raaji'oon

so, at 4 its asr time, but cant replray at schoolo coz everyone leaving, so prayed at work, which is around 5. which is pretty late so feel shitty everytime.

today, went to some faraway place in central london, i live on edge of london. and was still on way there and it was already dhuhr time. finally get thre and ask if we can pray and girl tell us we'd have to wait till refreshment time. which was at 3. finally 3.10 we're praying dhuhr but asr is 3.20 so felt pretty shitty. but alhamdoulillah at least i prayed asr on time. so felt peaceful....uuunnnnnttttiiiilll maghrib rolled in. was still abt an hour away from home and dad was like we'll pray at home (coz most masjid round area have only area for men to pray) but finally we prayed and then was on our way home, feels way better, inner peace-ly and otherwise. just as if you paid off a debt or something.
