On Patience And Thankfulness.

 Assalam alaikum,

The truthful person offers thanks for the blessings he receives, endures with patience the punishments, carries out the Commandments and keeps away from the prohibitions. Thus, the hearts are developed. Offering thanks for receiving blessings increases them and enduring with patience the punishments removes and mitigates them.

Endure with patience the death of childeren and other family members, the loss of property, loss of good reputation, the failure of worldly goals and harm caused by creatures, and then you will receive a great deal of good.

The Good Muslim.

 Assalam alaikum,

In a Hadith narrated by Abu Musa, may Allah be pleased with him, and related by Al-Bukahri, the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, some people asked the Messenger of Allah, amy Allah bless him and grant him peace, as to ''WHOSE ISLAM IS THE BEST? ie ( WHO IS A VERY GOOD MUSLIM) ?''. He replied, ''ONE WHO AVOIDS HARMING THE MUSLIMS WITH HIS TONGUE AND HANDS''.

We should all strive to be Good Muslims, just as indicated in the Light of this Noble Hadith.

   Many Regards.

On Contentment.

 Assalam alaikum,

Contentment with the Decree of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala is one of the acts of worship of the Heart. The  Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and garnt him peace, said:--

'' HE HAS TASTED THE SWEETNESS OF FAITH: HE WHO IS CONTENT WITH ALLAH

AS HIS LORD, ISLAM AS HIS RELIGION AND MUHAMMAD AS HIS PROPHET''. [ Muslim ]

We therefore need to know that God has provided for us, (for each one) our provision. As long as we work, we get what is written for us. In this regard, the Messenger of Allah, Sallallahu alaihi Wasallam, said:--

''KNOW THAT EVEN IF THE WHOLE OF COMMUNITY WERE TO GATHER TOGETHER TO

BENEFIT WITH SOMETHING, THEY WOULD NOT BENEFIT YOU WITH ANYTHING EXCEPT

The Successful One.

 Assalam alaikum,

The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, was reported to have said:--

''HE IS SUCCESSFUL WHO HAS ACCEPTED ISLAM, WHO HAS BEEN PROVIDED

WITH SUFFICIENT FOR HIS WANTS AND BEEN MADE CONTENTED BY ALLAH WITH

WHAT HE HAS GIVEN HIM''. [ Muslim ]

These days when people say so and so is very successful, what they mean is he is making a lot of money. By this noble Hadith, we understand who qualifies to be called successful. It is not having car x, house in y and a job z but:-- Islam, Needs fulfilled and Possessing a thankful heart. Note this accordingly.

  Regards.
