Abdul Rahman the Iraqi

A dear friend of mine, an intelligent man, an exile of Babylon call Abdul Rahman.

Our Conversation 6 months after the illegal war in Iraq.

mmm: Abdul, what do you make of Iraq now? Will you go back now that Saddam is gone?
Abdul: Yes, I saw my relatives when I was very young and then we had to flee Iraq because of Saddam.

(I don't know why his father had to flee with his family)

mmm: Your relatives, do you speak with them?
Abdul: Yes.
mmm: Are they now happier Saddam is out of power?
Abdul: They would rather Saddam rule, than the Americans.

The Veil

This is a post directed mainly to Muslims.

Whether you believe the veil is a must or Hijab will suffice, the only reason people can interfere with this (such a sensitive Islamic matter) is because the collective Ummah can’t decide which the correct way is.

In turn, room is given for non-Muslims to conjure an argument that it is not necessary. In essence, non-Muslims are teaching us about our religion.

Reaching a common ground is never easy with today’s Muslims. What we must consider are the sisters who wear the veil. It is their choice.

Is Guantanamo today's Auschwitz?

Is Guantanamo today's Auschwitz?
Is the Gaza Strip today’s Auschwitz?

Parallels can be drawn with the Nazi prison camps and Guantanamo.

We are, today seeing the persecution of Muslims. When a people are persecuted, they are alone. Nobody aids them. Look ate the Jewish people of Germany in the 1930s. The enslavement of blacks in America (and elsewhere) for the last 300 hundred years.

The Americans we’re involved in WW2, whether by the Japanese or (some people believe) coercion.

Prophecy Realised!

Salaam,

Abu Nadhrah (R.A.) narrates:
"We were sitting in the company of Jabir bin Abdullah (R.A.) when he said: 'Soon the people of Iraq will neither receive any food (grain) nor any money.'" We asked, "Why would such a thing happen?" He replied, "Because of the non-Arabs." (i.e they will prevent food from going into Iraq, in the form of "sanctions" - to this day.) He then said: "Soon the people of Shaam (Syria) will neither receive any money nor grain." We asked as to why this would happen. He replied: "Because of the Romans." -

Samosa recipe

Salaam all,

The title of this topic should tell you all about me!

Now my wife can cook biryani and pakoras really well, but the whole samosa thing is totally beyond her, she just can't get them right. The taste of the filling nor the pastry thickness (which should be thin).

I know what you’re thinking, do it yourself you chauvinist. Seriously, in the kitchen I’m a disaster. The first time I made toast I melted the toaster.
