Ramadhan is coming

Ramadhan is coming

It’s only a few weeks away
I can’t wait
In anticipation
The coming of the new moon
And the best month of the year

I hope I’m alive
Although I’m young
There’s no guarantee
That I’ll be here next month

Been waiting
Anticipating
Hoping
And silently praying
For a chance
To experience
Another Ramadhan

Last year I tried
To improve and change
Leave the bad habits
The drinking, womanising
Drugs and clubbing

Managed it for 30 days
But on Eid I went to a rave
I gave in, wasn’t brave
Went with the crowd
And got totally smashed

Its true after Rama

So what are your views on this anniversary and the aftermath of 9/11?

9/11 Anniversary Part One

Another anniversary
To remember and mourn
Those that died on that day
When the planes crashed
In to the WTC and narrowly missed the Pentagon

A day when terrorism arrived in the USA
And the whole world changed
War on terror was launched
Invasion after invasion
Only halted due to dogged resistance

Iran and Syria survived
Temporarily
As the Neo-Con agenda
Fell apart
In the deserts of Iraq
And the valleys of Afghanistan

A Coalition was formed
To storm
And smoke out the ene

1.Gambling logos on shirts

Yes this is a major problem; I mean the big Capitalist companies pay clubs millions to have their logo on the shirts, and the Money is used to pay the huge transfer fees and most importantly the salary of the players. So how can you go to your manager and Say “Boss my religion forbids me to advertise lager and gambling”. It’s kind of tough but then again jannah isn’t cheap either, but Freddie Kanoutie did exactly that, refused to wear a shirt advertising gambling.

What are your views on false arrests of Muslims?

The Radicalisation of Moderate Muslims

They came for my friend at dawn
Smashed his door
And pinned him to the floor
The strong arm of the law
Was felt on his body and mind
They Abused and insulted him with
words unkind

His wife was shocked
But in her room she was locked
His children cried
But they showed no mercy
Except joy and pride
They arrested another
In the war on so called terror

Didn’t matter
That he worked in the city
Was proud to be British
And attended every England mat

One billion Muslims to turn into suicide bombers if Makkah, Madina are attacked

ISLAMABAD: The treasury and opposition members in National Assembly (NA) Wednesday have made it clear on US that one billion Muslims will turn into suicide bombers if the holiest places of Makkah and Madina are attacked and warned Vetican City will not remain secure if any such threat is materialized.

They said this unanimously while participating in debate on foreign policy. Opposition legislator Ghulam Murtaza Satti said US was pursuing double standards.
