death

Must See Fab Poem...

It was early in the morning at four,

When death knocked upon a bedroom door,

Who is there? The sleeping one cried.

I'm Malkul Mawt, let me inside.

At once, the man began to shiver,

As one sweating in deadly fever,

He shouted to his sleeping wife,

Don't let him take away my life.

Please go away, O Angel of Death!

Leave me alone; I'm not ready yet.

My family on me depends,

Give me a chance, O please prepense!

The angel knocked again and again,

Friend! I'll take your life without a pain,

Tis your soul Allah requires,

I come not with my own desire.

Bewildered, the man began to cry,

O Angel I'm so afraid to die,

I'll give you gold and be your slave,

Don't send me to the unlit grave.

Let me in, O Friend! The Angel said,

The dead could occupy the same world as the living

Medieval records evoke the time when the dead were always with us.
The Abbot of the Monastery of Burton-on-Trent recorded an uncanny series of events that occurred around 1090.
"There were two villagers living in Stapenhill, who ran away to a neighboring village. The very next day at the third hour , they were suddenly struck down dead.
Soon after their corpses were buried, word came of two alien beings roaming the woods. Now they appeared in the shape of men carrying wooden coffins on their shoulders. Now in the likeness of bears or dogs."

The villagers were in were in mortal terror of the two phantom dead men who roamed the countryside at night.
The Bishop authorized the villagers to dig up the dead bodies.

Chill in Heaven or Burn in Hell?

The belief in the Day of Judgement is a fundamental of Islam. This is when Allah (swt) will be the only Judge and no-one will be able to help us - not even our own parents! On the Day of Judgement, the hair of a child will turn grey. [Bukhari]. This shows the severity of that Day where even children will be stricken with fear, although they are innocent and going to Heaven (Jannah). The only thing which will benefit us will be our good deeds. We will either be told that we have been successful thus will go into Heaven, or have failed so will end up in Hell.

Heaven

What does Heaven look like?

The Qur’an and Hadith reveal many detailed descriptions of Heaven:

Editorial: Islam hijacked by the suicide bomb

By Sajid Iqbal

You're sat on the bus with your mates. You're having a wicked meal at a top restaurant with your work colleagues. You're walking down a busy road with your partner. You're attending a football match with your brothers. You're on the plane with your parents. Then a huge BANG! A massive explosion. Bodies are flying everywhere. Hundreds dead and injured. Soon it's reported it was a suicide bomb. Nobody knows why. Everyone questions what have the victims done to deserve this? Nothing makes sense. How can anyone do this? Hours later a Muslim organisation takes responsibility for the suicide attack.

How do you feel now? How do you view religions now? What are your feelings towards Muslims now? What do you think of Islam now?

RIP: Rest in peace or ripped into pieces?

Have you ever wondered what happens after death? What happens to your soul? What happens in the grave? What you are about to read is not from any sci-fi movie or horror novel. This is nothing but the truth based on Islamic teachings of the Quran and the Sunnah. So sit back, fasten your seat belt as we're going on one heck of a ride!

There’s a saying that there are two certainties in life: death and taxes. Enterprising people have managed to find a way around the taxes, but death is a bigger problem.

Ten Things To Do Before You Die

Do you know when you're gonna die? Of course you don't! You could be DEAD next week, next month or next year. So before you go what do you wanna do and achieve in life? What are your dreams and ambitions? What big plans do you have for your life? How do you wanna be remembered?

The Revival presents to you 10 things you should do before you die:

1. Fulfil your responsibilities

As Muslims there are many things that are compulsory (fardh) upon us like reading our prayers 5 times a day, performing Hajj once in a lifetime, to fast and to give zakat. So make Hajj a priority.... not 'I'll do it when I'm old'. Make up your missed prayers and make a promise not to miss any more... and start from NOW.

2. Live Your Dreams
