True, very treu but may be not to us as much... all we could have done was use him either as an inspiration or buy his albums or whatever...
this is why I don't like using Past and display a possibility, it makes you walk on a wire, you jump to conclusions, become TOO concious of it... and use it to elaborate something else (?)

I don't know of any verse or Hadith against that. But I would be vary about calling someone say, Rabb (loosely: Lord in the Divine sense) or Aziz (loosely: Almighty). They are reserved for Allah. We can add Abdul or Abdurr on the beginning and make Abdul Rabb or Abdul Aziz or Abdur Rehman.
