Gentleness and kindness were never a part of anything except that it made it beautiful, and harshness was never a part of anything except that it made it ugly.

Through cheating, stealing, and lying, one may get required results but finally one becomes

salaam

thats a load of rubbish. a big big big joke.

i've been in and out of the ISOC, i've met most of the brothers from prayer room and talks, know the whole lot - not one single radical i know. AT ALL. sure everyone is a bit miffed at the political scene, but that dont make u an extremist. to be a non-extremist, do you have to side with the labour party?

the isoc president asked MMU about the statemaent they made in response, stating they will take action if they see anything - and no1 at the uni said that........even more lies!! :shock:

The Lover is ever drunk with love;
He is free, he is mad,
He dances with ecstasy and delight.

Caught by our own thoughts,
We worry about every little thing,
But once we get drunk on that love,
Whatever will be, will be.

when someone says your extreme, do they mean it as a compliment or not?

Depends on the person and in what sense the word "extreme" is used.

I don't need to imitate, I actually went to Brunel University!

I agree with Siris, it's a vast, ridiculas exaggeration to say that extremism is rampant in these university Islamic societies, especially at my old uni. I’m still a member of B.U.I.S (paid up till 2008 Biggrin ), and while you may have the odd hothead and those angry at government policy, they are far less “extreme” than the socialists who called a strike near exam time last year.
