PRAYERS SAVE A YOUNG TRAPPED MAN.
In shajarotam, bhuj a young man was trapped in the rubble. He shouted for help for a few hours, but no one came to his help. He was not in a habit of reading namaz. But finding him in a helpless situation, he started praying namaz. After 2 to 3 days, he saw food and water being served to him from unknown source. After nearly a week, Army relief teams heard noises coming from the place the he was trapped and brought him out safe and sound. His belief in Allah increased greatly and he started praying regularly.

FOOD AND WATER PROVIDED TO GIRL RECITING THE HOLY QURAN!
A nine year old girl was reciting the holy quran when the earthquake struck. The whole house was destroyed. She remained trapped in the rubble for a week until she was rescued. When interviewed, she was asked how she managed to survive during this time, she replied, “ I was provided food by an unknown source.

A DEVOUT MUSLIM ‘SAVES’ AN APARTMENT BLOCK!
On pareshwar road, bhuj, 5 new identical apartments were built. All the apartments were occupied by non-muslims and muslims could not get to buy these apartments. However a devout muslim, was very keen to obtain one of the flats, he somehow managed to buy one of the apartments although he had to pay over the odds to get to it. During the earthquake four of the five blocks were destroyed, the one in which the muslim occupied the flat remained intact. The other residents of the apartment thanked as they believed it was because of him, the survived the earthquake and praised Allah for being alive.

“ALLAH ANSWERED OUR CALL OF HELP”
in Bhuj, at the time of the earthquake, some of the non muslims called out to their god, “Help us”!, but their cries for help were unanswered. They then called “oh Allah help us”! the tremors then stopped, one of these, a person named chunibhai duhdwara, insists, “ it was only Allah who heard our cries of help.”

MOSQUE PROVIDES REFUGE TO NON-MUSLIMS!

In Ahmedabad, non muslims were exerting pressure to close down a mosque as their houses were near to the mosque. During the earthquake. The majority of the houses and flats came crashing down. The non muslims rushed into the mosque for safety. They told the muslims in the mosque. “pray to Allah for us, he will listen to you.” They apologised for there behaviour towards the muslims in trying to close down the mosque.

AZAN REDUCES AFTER SHOCKS

In Khatri chowk, bhuj , haji kassam, a muazzin at the local mosque, said that at the time of the earthquake he tought about his pir. Hazarat osman mian naqshbandi, majority of the houses in the area were destroyed or badly damaged in the earthquake. Haji kassam’s house was destroyed as well but he came out from the rubble of his house except for some blood which was flowed from a small scratch on his head which he had nor even noticed. He and people in many other areas of Bhuj gave Azaan regularly and they say that calling azaan reduced the after shocks substantially.
