[b]Advanced Tajweed[/b]

This course is for students who have already studied tajweed and its rules and are able to recite fully with tajweed. It is specifically designed to prepare students for the Ijazah course in which they will complete a full recital of the Qur’an under an experienced Qari.

Ebrahim College (EC) will be running an ijaza course after Ramadhan which will be the next step for the students on this course.

[b]Entry requirements: [/b]

Students should have at least completed level 3 tajweed (ISP1 module 3) at EC. Otherwise, anyone who has studied tajweed before and can recite with tajweed can apply. They will be interviewed to determine their suitability.

Progression: This course will prepare students for the advanced Ijazah course running after Ramadhan 2008.

Tajweed level 2 (ISP1 module 2) [/b]

This course continues on from the Tajweed for beginners course (ISP1 mod 1) and mainly focuses on extended practice of recitation and tajweed rules implementation in reading. The course is suitable for anyone who has studied some tajweed before at a basic level so that he/she is aware of the common rules and is able to recite with some tajweed application but now requires more prolonged training and practice.

Completion of Tajweed for beginners at EC, or demonstration or evidence that level 1 contents have been studied elsewhere. Please check level 1 specification on our website or click here.

[b]Tajweed for beginners (ISP1 module 1) [/b]

Tajweed course for beginners introducing the rules of tajweed, and elementary training under the teacher. This course will ensure that students recite their short surahs correctly and get them started on applying the rules of tajweed as they read the Qur’anic text.

[b]Entry requirements: [/b]

Students should be able to read the Qur’an in Arabic. Those who cannot should do the foundation course first.

Progression: After this course, students will be able to progress to Tajweed level 2 after Ramadhan and continue towards completing ISP1 Tajweed.
