An observation of my room

My room is a mess.

Well it’s not as bad as some rooms but it is still pretty messy. On my left there is my desk, which is made of metal ( – well the frame is) and safety glass (the shelvey parts – I wanted to specifically mention that since when I got it I always wondered if it meant safety glass as in the kind that would protect me from bullets – if so, genius! pretty cool huh?)

Anyway it was given to me by my dad so that I could do all my homework and stuff on it – this was about like say um 5 years ago – I remember typing up my AS coursework at that desk. That same year (the same time actually) he gave me a leather chair that spins (round and round we go – woah I’m dizzy) and fixed in a tube light – which is directly above my head as I speak – type. The chair is currently covered in clothes – work wear I’m guessing (I don’t want to turn to check) and the light well, it’s a light.

Right now I’m not using that desk or chair because it’s got so much stuff on it that it would be impossible to clear quickly enough to write this today – I guess I could push it all to a side and off the edge but that makes more cleaning up for tomorrow. The desk I am using is one of those laptop ones that wheels around wherever you go. It’s white with a little blue scribble on the right-hand side. That’s where my nephew decided he would attempt to be Picasso.

I face one of the windows – which gives us a view of the garden and in front of me on the right is the door which is covered with all but one of my jackets. The one on top of all the rest is my faux leather one (I was going to get a real leather one but then decided I may not wear it much – which is ridiculous since I wear this one enough – hmm interesting – something to ponder about later) and under that, there’re others – black, blue, white, black again: this time with a fur thing, grey, oh and some joggers –whose are they? My brother’s or mine – I’ll check that out later too.

I’ve sort of lost track of what I was saying – ok I wasn’t saying anything extremely important – just a sort of blueprint of my room which, you know, will help you not trip up if you decide to rob me. My house actually has been broken into so it’s not funny actually – my room was the worst – they went through my stuff which I didn’t appreciate – on Eid too which is weird. Anyway I lost track because my phone keeps receiving texts from people telling me all these exciting thing and my hands want to type faster than is humanly possible – my brain is totally working double shifts!

But yes, my room is rather messy. It’s not dirty, just messy. I actually hoovered (that should actually be ‘vacuumed’ since Hoover was just a brand) it yesterday so the carpet is clean. You could eat your dinner off it – if you like your fibre that is.

I notice a blue and black were mentioned a couple of times.
(and white) for some reason i'm thinking its dark blue and obviously black is dark anyway. In conclusion, im thinking - you're a "dark" kinda person?! :O ...or not.

Lol, i liked wearing dark clothes (still do sometimes - not because i'm dark exactly but just because i felt able to relax better and be me, in those ones - sometimes.. i don't know). The blue one isn't actually that dark and the white - well it's dark if you took out all the white. but i do own a lot of dark coloured clothes and if that makes me a dark person - so be it! GRINNNOO (dark people would frown right?) FROWNNNO

SO it seems to be a nicely organised tidy room then...

The desk I am using is one of those laptop ones that wheels around wherever you go.

Yuck.

I like the idea of desks etc being strong. I have seen people use desks with wheels and it has been sturdy, but in the back of my mind its there... desks are not meant to have wheels.

why is everyone talking about their room?

Lol you weird, weird person. Actually you're right, i can't think of any that do - apart from the travel-desks which is what this is. I travel from point A of my room to point B.

I just was a little annoyed that my room isn't staying tidy - i even chucked out all my junk when i finished uni. Kept all the good stuff though - i have a lot of 'not-junk'.
