British Muslims Reject Tony Blair

British Muslims reject Tony Blair

On Tuesday 19 July, the Prime Minister Tony Blair will meet with self-appointed leaders and representatives from various Muslim communities in order to discuss and tackle what he calls the 'evil' within these communities. As Muslims in Britain, we totally reject this approach and will take no part in it. We believe that the conduct of the Prime Minister is part of the problem and not the solution. Unelected community leaders who associate themselves with the Prime Minister will also been seen as part of the problem.

I know a song that'll get on your nerves, get on your nerves

Salaam

So what gets on your nerves?
What do you dislike?

Wat can be done about it in a proactive, positive manner?

I dislike:
Stupidity.
Can't think of anything else atm.

I understand that people have different levels of intellect, but I am not talking of intellectual stupidity (after all you have a certain amount, but there is nothing you can do about it).

I am talking when people jump head first and think later.
When people talk first, think later.

I think people sound stupid when they cannot compress the information they wish to communicate.

Proud to be a Fundamentalist

I am a fundamentalist Muslim who, by the grace of Allah(swt), knows, follows and strives to practise the fundamentals of Islam.

A true Muslim does not shy away from being a fundamentalist. I am proud to be a fundamentalist Muslim because, I know that the fundamentals of Islam are beneficial to humanity and the whole world. There is not a single fundamental of Islam that causes harm or is against the interests of the human race as a whole.

Many people have misconceptions about Islam and consider several teachings of Islam to be unfair or improper.

Gifted or the chosen one!

Which ever way you gonna call it, it’s the same to me!. I mean, there are people who are gifted with something special . Some would know it immediately but some would only know that they are gifted after many people told them.

OK, what a hell I’m talking about! . Well, for example, Mujahid'is been gifted to be loved by girls, I mean, when girls look at Mujahid' they go WoW! That sort of thing!! You know what I mean!!

The chosen one!!, simply, a leader!! . You automatically become the leader of your group, i.e. by default and everyone in the family accept it!. So, it goes like this!!

"Islamophobia"?

Is anyone else uncompfortable with the official use of this term.

I don't like it primarily because it just sounds like a quickly thought up term indicative of the sloganistic culture we live in.

Secondly a phobia is a psychological condition based on childhood experiences so it isn't even relevant in that sense.

I don't think there's a problem using it on forums and stuff but when I hear adult muslims using it on TV it does sound slightly childish and embarrasing.
