for e.g like when somebody passes away, people do the 40 days Khatam and

other things like celebrating Prophet Muhammed 'pbuh' birthday.

My point: is it allowed in Islam ??? I've been told by my friend, No, It's

Bidith.

true, there is already a topic on it.

For the Record, there is nothing wrong with it IMO.

You need to prove WHY something is wrong/banned. Everything is allowed unless it is banned.
