The Manchester terrorism victims

Terror has no religion

Terror has no religion
Terror has no religion

My thoughts go out to their families.

I never thought that something like this would happen in Manchester.

If it was a terrorist incident, I thought such mindsets were less prevalent in this region, making us almost immune.

Attacking innocents (especially children, as many at this even would have been) is despicable and against Islam.

Justifying haraam acts is kufr.

People need to also remain vigilant for their own safety as this event will bring out other nutjobs and there will be a spike in targetting people and symbols.

I have been informed that the Villa Road mosque in Oldham has already been targetted with the front door being set on fire (though no confirmation if it was linked to this).

Received this today

“A man outside Stamford Hill Mosque yesterday armed with a sword/knife aiming for revenge post Manchester. Luckily he was stopped in his tracks before he got into the Masjid but all Masjids need to have contingency plans and be ready for similar incidents”

It is a shame that people need to take precautions following such events as it detracts from the loss suffered by the victims and thir families.

In general though the number of positive news stories where people havepulle dtogether and not let hate divide them have been heart warming.
