I hate yawning...

but not for the obvious reason. Not because it is rude. Not because it is a sign of laziness or tiredness or lack of sleep or boredom or... But because my jaw is sort of dislocated. or has a loose socket or something technical - I don't think I was paying too much attention when the doctors told me.

If I open my mouth really wide and then close it without paying too much attention, the jaw can come out of its socket and fall back in with a loud (to me anyway - could be the relatively short distance from the jaw join to the ear canal) cracking sound. It is painful. From moderately to very depending on the circumstances.

Why am I writing this now? I just yawned... but for the first time ever, my jaw locked. yep, you read that right. Not only could I not close my mouth, all I could say was "aaa. aaa." and not very loudly at that. (If had called for help, would anyone have figured otu why I was gripping my bottom teeth and saying "aaa."? )would be funny if it was not painful. Scratch that - thinking back, it was funny. Laughing at the sound right now.

Lasted maybe a minute or so with me physically pulling at my mouth. eventually with a little cajoling, it cracked (painfully) into place. The jaw muscles had a moderate amount of cramp. Let's just say I have a very painful jaw right now.

Having a blog is awesome. Where else would I write about things like this?

Don't laugh too hard, or your jaw will lock again.

It is said that Shaitan laughs at you when you yawn, and now you're laughing along with him!

Don't just do something! Stand there.
