Just thought I'd blog because it's 5am and I can't sleep.

Soooo I'm 21 today woo.

Kinda depressed about that, haven't done half the stuff I wanted to by this age. I just about graduated and passed my driving test in the past couple of weeks, I don't have much to show for my 21 yrs on this planet :/

Oh and my great grandma died today. I only met her a few times but she was such a strong woman, a real Big Momma type lol. It's sad but for this year before she died she got dementia and really lost her mind, it's nuts how someone can be so strong and in control and then it's just taken from them and they're just a humiliated sack of bones talking like a child. It really puts things into perspective how fickle life can be, huh?

So yeah, just these depressing thoughts keeping me up.

Hope you're all doing well.

Woohoohoo! May Allah give you a long and blessed life and continue to shower you with His mercy, forgivness and goodness! Now you are REALLY getting old. I kid. That's four years until you're a quarter of a century o.O But, you don't have to act like all the other old ladies at the ripe old age of 21.

What exactly did you want to do by this age? You still have time left. Life's not over just yet and don't be depressed about it either because you have absolutely no reason to need to feel like that. Now that you're more free, you've graduated and you can drive, what more do you want?

Do whatever you wish to do ALL before your parents decide to get you hitched! Unless ofcourse (you're already married which i don't really know about) OR you want to save it for your time with the prince and then do it together lol.

And about your great grandma, Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilayhir Raaji'oon. You might feel the loss right now but just remember that as time passes these emotions will become less intense cause you'll accept the loss and start to move forward.

None of us are here forever and it's just a reminder of where we're all heading one day. Make dua for her and read lots of Quran and ask Allah to bless her with the rewards of your recitation. You can also give Sadaqah-e-Jaariyah, which she will be receiving reward for because it's continuous charity.

May Allah Almighty make it easy for you, your family and everybody else who knew your great grandma AKA the real Big Momma.

wouaw, graduated. mashaaAllah!

you and my bro are born on the same date, different years.

dont be depressed, this is the age where you take things into your own hand and decide what you wanna make of yourself, you're got quite some equipment now! look ahead!!

Is it true? Is it kind? Is it necessary?

Salaam.

Inna lillah wa Innah ilaihi Raji'oon.

Congrats at graduating.
