There can be differences of interpretation, one person can be clearer/deeper than another.
And after that, there is also the issue of clarity of language. Is there yet a good, clear english translation/tafsir?

There is definitely a need for a modern version. Many of the other versions that are translated in to English, use old English. The Qur'an will be much easier to understand if it is in modern day English.
