Six Truths of Life

Six truths of life:

1. You cannot touch all your top teeth with your tongue.

2. All idiots. after reading the first truth, will try it.

3.and discover the first truth is a lie and feel superior because they can do it.

4. you're smiling now because you're an idiot.

5. you soon will forward this to another idiot

6. there's still a stupid smile on your face.

Hijamah (cupping)

Today, Thurday 5th August 2010, i went to a cupping course.

There are two ways people can fall short when it comes to remedies.
1) they put their trust in Allah alone and do not try any remedies.
2)they put thier trust in the remedy alone. (this can lead to Shirk)

i've learnt a lot on this course. and i have still a lot to learn.

there are three type of cupping: Dry cupping, Massage cupping and wet cupping.

dry and massage cupping are not from the sunnah, but fall under the hide category of "for every disease there is a remedy"

fire cupping is not used anymore as it is too hazardous and also it is harder to control the tension. therefore we nowadays used the pumps.

Travelling without a mahram- Never again.

Inshallah.

i dont ever want to travel without a mahraam.

this is the thing

On friday i went on the Year 8 trip as a staff for a day. Meeting at 5am and back at 10.30pm.

so i needed to pray Duhr and because i nod off in the bus (at 5am) i lost my wudu.

then we get on the coach, toilet WAY TOO BUSY. (unfortunatly we werent the only school who decided to go to france that day...)

then we get to Calais. and drive to Boulogne. and stop at this fortified town. 12.35. still too early im thinking. Duhr in france is at 2pm.

30hrs in France

well..that was what was suppose to happen. but it didnt go that way.

anyway. We travel for TWELVE hours. I dont think our family is suppose to travel at normal times. We have NO idea where the time went and how come it took us so long. (average time is 9 hours and thats when we take a 2 hours ferry ride which is furthest north, this time we took the eurotunnel...)

anyway, left at 5pm and got "home" at 5am (saturday morning)

then 11.30 was the town hall reception (we went for a wedding)
