Nothing is meaningful until rewarded with ultimate blessings on being accomplished. Trials and tests are for the faith bearers to check who are the true believers and stick to the commandments of Allah. For the worshippers Allah has announced reward in the form of Heaven as the imperative verses of Surah Ar Rahman elaborate the beautification and blessings associated with the concept of Heaven.
Quran the book that shields the believers from going astray has termed these dwellers of Heaven as the people of the garden. Jannah is the concept of a reward, which a faith exhibiting Muslim will get when he contemplates and acts upon the teachings of Quran. About paradise, Allah says:
“And fruit of what they select. And the meat of fowl, from whatever they desire.” [Quran 56: 20-21]
Allah will bless a person with virtues comprising dignity, distinction, highest place in the Paradise with noble people, favors that no person can imagine in this world. The life of paradise will be a life where there will be no stress, no despondency and no sufferings just peace and contentment. About the blessings and favors of paradise, the Quran says:
“In both of them are fruit and palm trees and pomegranates.” [Quran 55:68]
Fruits of Heaven:
The aforementioned verse is a mere glimpse of paradise fruits that, palm trees and pomegranate will be among the fruits of paradise, which a worshipper will savor.
Contemplate on the fruits of paradise and it will reveal the marvels that these fruits hold within it. Pomegranate that is, the fruit of heaven, neatly tucked in seeds, is the true reflection of Allah’s creativity. The taste and perfection in creation, let the person utter Alhamdulillah, all at once, and then imagine the rest of the fruits that Allah has promised to give the award to the dwellers of paradise.
In Quran, the book of miracles Allah says:
“And it is He who sends down rain from the sky, and We produce thereby the growth of all things. We produce from it greenery from which We produce grains arranged in layers.” [6:99]
Allah has kept other blessings for the people of the garden. Olive oil and grapes are one of them, which have blessings associated with them and provide strength and vigor. In fact, these creations and fruits are the signs, which depict the exaltedness of Mighty Lord. The Quran says:
“… And from the palm trees - of its emerging fruit are clusters hanging low. And [We produce] gardens of grapevines and olives and pomegranates, similar yet varied. Look at [each of] its fruit when it yields and [at] its ripening. Indeed in that are signs for a people who believe.” [6:99]
Maidens of Heaven:
It is said that maiden pure wives would have awarded to the worshippers who will be the epitome of beauty. The Quran says that they will have wide splendid shinny eyes with spotless complexion and loyal to the core as the verse elaborates:
“In them are women limiting [their] glances, untouched before them by man or jinni -So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - As if they were rubies and coral.” [Quran 55: 56 - 58]
The aforementioned are few virtues that a person who is true to the teachings of the Quran will get. These preliminary favors are nothing in comparison to what Allah has kept for the people who are loyal and devoted to His religion and prophet’s Sunnah. Islam is the only acceptable religion and this is the mere path of absolution. Act and do what the Quran says, as everything done and committed will have accountability on the reckoning day.
