Regarding Warsi apeearence i never said she sould wear any form of islamic clothing you assumed this.

In the same vein, if there is no struggle, then there is no progress. Its silly to sit back at the first hurdle, even if it is being accused of extremism.

It is easy to point fingers I know, but I do not believe I am being unduly unfair or harsh. All things considered when you are given a position of power you carry a great responsibility and must deliver. Perhaps I expect too much from them.

Like you, Ive not read much of her views, but I would be very careful of considering her less of a muslim (rather one that does not follow basic tenets of Islam) based on what she wears (which was a matter that was emphasised in some posts earlier). That I feel is very judgemental and wrong.

I will also not be so naïve as to believe that she may not have joined the conservative party just to "make up" ethnic minority or even "muslim" figures. This after the conservative party have had to defend accusations of being racist. Even William Hague admitted that certain sections of the conservative party were racist. But I digress.

If you aren't a liar, SISTER, you're a fool, and I suspect it's a bit of both. If it's all this "you don't have to believe me" then it isn't at all inappropriate to mention I don't. But being wrong doesn't make me a liar. If you believe your own arguments bless you and all.

You complained she didn't look Muslim. So I'm inclined to recall my suspicion that one or two people are yanking chains, because pointing out failed assumptions is an explicit argument that I myself used more appropriately on other threads.

i think she could be able to get the vote for muslim personality becoz ive heared shes working for cohesion and integration (thumbs up 4 me)!!!

i guess i had this view that all conservatives were bad, which oviously if shes working for cohesion and integration she cant be bad. (a good person would support cohesion and integration

Also, my understanding of dress code has broadened.

basically i got a mate who wheres a hijab (looks muslim) and i have a mate that doesnt wear hijab (so oviously like warsi she dont look muslim). BUT the thing is the one who dont where hijab is actually more practicing!!!

therfore, i can now understand where u r coming from.
