NO TOPIC

You โ€”

Well This is the new No Topic Topic. ๐Ÿ˜›

For those who do not know, this place is to talk about nothing. Nada. Zilch. And everything else which according to you does not deserve it's own topic.

The other one was getting a bit long, and was just full of bickering now.

So we have a new start.

The bickering in the Old no topic should not be carried over to here.

EDIT - go to NO TOPIC the Third.

YOU LOT HAVE OFFICIALLY CONFUSED ME FOR ABOUT 2 MINUTES.

Beast Sun, 25 Nov 2007 - 19:58

MuslimSisterThats fascinating.

From what I've seen Raja's seem to be very similar to MP's in their attitude to a lot of stuff. So I was just wondering if all Raja's were MP's.

BTW how accepting are the third generation MP's (i.e. you) to their parents ideals?

In my family the traditional way of doing things is what goes. But there have been instances where people have married outside of the family - with varying degrees of trouble.

My relatives in my generation are quite happy to get married to whoever their parents tell them to. But my closest Mirpuri friends don't look forward to it.

Sorry I just had to add that Raja's and MP's are like chalk and cheese!!! Trust me on this one!!!! lol Im so offended!! ๐Ÿ˜‚

So in this topic mp is and mirpiri?

Ya'qub Sun, 25 Nov 2007 - 21:48

FunzoSo in this topic mp is and mirpiri?

even I knew that and i have ABSOLUTELY NO idea what you are all going on about!!

Funzo Sun, 25 Nov 2007 - 21:50

yeah i knew that but just checking. Miripiri's are genuinely all the same greedy and selfish but witha few exceptions.

Gulz Sun, 25 Nov 2007 - 21:53

Ya'qub its good that you dont know cos its all a bit silly and narrow minded really .. just generalising types of Pakistanis from where they are from and different castes but our parents tend to do it more than us... i hope!!!

Funzo Sun, 25 Nov 2007 - 21:56

Yes i agree with you to an extent because what they are doing is at a level of generalising but its that trend that the type of people set.

Imaani Sun, 25 Nov 2007 - 21:59

Jhelum isn't near Mirpur Funzo... I think that's close to where we live but Mirpur is quite far, about 2 hours by car from us.

Gulz Sun, 25 Nov 2007 - 22:01

id call it more of a display of attitude and mannerisms and education.. i'll stop there before i start sounding like my mum!!!

Ya'qub Sun, 25 Nov 2007 - 22:03

let me get this strait.....

you guys come halfway around the world, and then make generalisations about each other based on coming from a few miles away from each other?

does anyone realise that Islam got rid of petty tribalism over 1400 years ago?

(yes i DO realise as an arsenal supporter i have an irrational dislike of tottenham supporters...and that is not really any different).

Imaani Sun, 25 Nov 2007 - 22:14

I don't think I'd be able to tell the difference between all these types of Pakistani's or guess where they come from. I don't think I even know what I am... :?

Funzo Sun, 25 Nov 2007 - 22:28

its about 20 miles away traveling at 30 mph would take 45 mins

Seraphim Sun, 25 Nov 2007 - 22:30

yeah thats true.

Its why i only see people in terms of guy and girl.

Im not really interested in their ethnicity. As long as i can stand to be around them for a few hours thats fine.

Ya'qub Sun, 25 Nov 2007 - 22:31

Funzoits about 20 miles away traveling at 30 mph would take 45 mins

what she meant is that it takes 3 hours by car cos the car keeps breaking down!

Funzo Sun, 25 Nov 2007 - 22:34

I have a kid in my class who sticks his fingers in his ears, rolls around on the floor and covers his eyes when the music teacher is trying to teach my class xmas songs.

Its comical to watch.

He's told me that his mum says that he's not allowed to sing xmas songs.

I've accepted that reasoning. However, he really doesnt need to make a great big drama about it - esp since most songs are about snow and rudolf the red nosed reindeer.

His mum should also get him a written excuse to get out of recieving xmas presents and attending class xmas parties - not just singing.

Bliss Sun, 25 Nov 2007 - 22:41

I'm a bit confused here I thought some Raja were also MP :?

i thought there were no muslims in your class at school?

don't tell me a non-muslim is capable of this sort of outlandish behaviour!

Funzo Sun, 25 Nov 2007 - 22:42

man when people edit there posts it makes others seem useless.
