I love that guy.

He did the movies Glory and Shawshank Redemption - that's good enough for me. But he had to go and impress the hell outta me further by starring in no less than two of the James Patterson - Alex Cross Series.

And now what's he doing?

He's gone and narrated a movie about Penguins marching around in the North Pole.

Can this guy get any cooler?

I submit that he can NOT.

Just interested in what islam say about suspicion. It seem it become very common amoungst muslims today. People are all too quick to judge today assuming stuff and at the same time, it always affecting their perception of a situation.

I always found this subject rather interesting, after going to a speech by a scholar. Because afterwards, i realise that there a very limited amount of halal entertainment round. Well very little seem good enough for the youth as it all about short term buzz, which there is no halal way to compenstate for that in islam IMO.

Does such a concept even exist. Because where entertainment is concern, alot of the time it involve you leaving your obligation too allah swt. Like playing football through Namaaz times, being abusive to ur fellow man, while playing it.

Islamic socities have been around for a long time with so many different organisations or just societies with the same message but in some rare cases these societies/organisations have segregated the muslim brotherhood causing arguments, disagreements and have led them to compete with one another.

But these societies arent wrong are they? I mean they're all spreading the word of Islam so why is there so many downfalls to these as well?

This is getting very interesting.

Some background: Russia sells cheap gas to forver soviet countries that toe its line. Ukraine used to, but since 2004 has become more west-centric.

Russia used to sell gas at £50.00 for 1000 cubic metres, but has demanded the 'market price' of £230.00, which is over 4 times as high. The price was to be effective new years day. Ukraine refused to pay anything above £80.00. Russia has noe severed its gas pipelines supplying Ukraine. Ukraine needs gas.

What do you lot think of men wearing jewelery?

Not ear studs, but things like chains or rings?

If I know someone who starts going down that line, I cannot help but comment to them. Slightly mockingly about closets etc.

Yet another aunty grabbed my hand the other day and said that my bare wrists “don’t look good”. I pointed out that they weren’t bare- I was wearing a charm bracelet…

I know what she meant though. I’ve heard this lecture many times before. I wasn’t wearing any gold.

I don’t like gold and I have never done so. I dislike the look and the colour. And how silly would it look if I was wearing 12 chunky gold bracelets with English clothes?

And I hardly own any gold…. I have two gold rings which were a B’day present (from an English shop).
