Last time I used them about 3 years ago they did get back to me, but only like a couple of time, and at really inopportune moments. (can't do a phone interview when I am at a job which I have just started!)

"For too long, we have been a passively tolerant society, saying to our citizens 'as long as you obey the law, we will leave you alone'" - David Cameron, UK Prime Minister. 13 May 2015.

Admin have you already sent your cv? As it was in the above post? Was gonna make some suggestions....lol.

Take your time on it, as you won't get a second chance with these companies.

I cant really remember the website which I found quite helpful with cv's, covering letters, interviews etc, but I think this one was ok: www.workthing.com

Employment History
Sales
In my current (liar!) employment I have gained 2 years experience in an outbound cold (not a good word, sounds negative, plus thats what outbound means doesnt it?) calling environment. Continuous engagement with staff as well as the public has enabled me to develop my communication and persuasive skills. In addition I have taken on various responsibilities (what exactly) and I am trusted to help with managing the team.(How?)

Sales & Customer Service
Working as a senior (were you a member of the support/quality team?)customer service adviser, my role was to deal with inbound customer queries efficiently and politely, resolving any problems first time. (This is probably what all the other csa's would say about their role - as a 'senior' csa, what more could you say. If your lying, then how did the actual 'senior' csa's role differ to yours? To fulfil this role was it important to demonstrate empathy? - How about your individual/team targets-did you ever meet them? lol. Were you monitored regularly? If so what was you quality score? lol again. If they were rubbish then you're right to leave them out. Mention the skills 'patience', 'excellent telephone manner' and dont forget your computer skills, but dont elaborate -as you cover this later.)

Security Officer/ Steward
As a paying customer facing role, (soz, but I dont get that) my job was to ensure public safety, maintain order and be a part of the front line to deal with any situation which may arise without causing undue disturbance. (long sentence-break it up a bit.) (Try to elaborate a bit more about this role.)

Voluntary Work & Other skills

Technical / Administrator
In My spare time I volunteer at The Revival Magazine. Apart from writing articles, my role mainly involves ensuring the smooth running of the whole operation. I am in charge of the online presence. I have designed and (now) administrate the highly successful website. (It is my responsibility to)I also make sure the communications infrastructure is properly maintained, which involved setting up email addresses for the team, keeping records, maintaining Computers and overcoming other day to day hurdles.

Computing
I have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office along with its competitor products such as WordPerfect Office and OpenOffice.org. I am competent at using and diagnosing problems on the Windows platform, and also have experience of other Operating Systems, mainly Fedora Core. I am a quick study, (?-never heard that expression before)so I can learn and become competent with new software and hardware very quickly.

Languages
Apart from English, I can speak Urdu and Punjabi. I also have a basic understanding of Arabic and have recently developed some interest in learning to speak Mandarin.

That is the new 'nonfacty' approach I am gonna try. No real facts, not all my jobs (only listed three). But it does give a wide range of skills. The bit I wrote about The Revival I think I should improve... but not sure how to without making it sound worse than it does.

The first 2 roles are very similar, so emphasise the differences. You could try making your most recent employment seem like a progression type thing, ie further developing skills learned, applying them to new situations etc.

If you're going to make out you're still in employment you need to think this through proper and sort out what you're going to say. This could be tricky when it comes to references. Even if you're going to be honest you still need to know what you're going to say.

How about making your main headings capital and centreing them? I didnt really like the layout of the template you used - it looks kind of messy, writing everywhere.

I liked the bit about The Revival - you could mention how long you've held this position.

And when you've worked for a bit you realise how good it is to just be a lazy student....

Work is vital for experience...you need something to go in your CV. I used to make sure that my lazy long summers were full of some voluntary work, so that I'd have something to put in my CV.

And work AND Uni so difficult to balence....

When being judgemental it's always good to cover your own back!

i remember shaykh zia ullah khan from canada saying try to use ur weak point as a strong point,he said for example say if u r a hardworker, say you are so focused at the task at hand u often neglect whtz goin on around but thatz cuz u wna gv ur work a 100%

Just end at the just focussed bit. No need to mention that you neglect other things. Just say you are highly focussed. Neglecting anything is a weakness...
