Never despair in the Mercy of ALLAH and never doubt your duas.
ALLAH says: I am of my servant as he thinks of me.
So if you think that your ALLAH hears and fulfills your every need then I give a guarantee that ALLAH Most High will do just that and if one begins to doubt then ALLAH knows best about what is to happen.
Without doubt ALLAH tests His chosen people on this earth and through this their ranks are increased.
Alhamdulillah.

Yes slurping is right out - it's all about the angle with noodles - you have to kinda lay them on the top of the bottom chopstick - I usually attack it rom the side.
Is there a particular secret i'm missing with rice?
so i went out with my family today to an oriental place for dinner... and dave, i dunno how to explain the way i pick up the rice to u... its one of those things u can only show ppl by actually doing, if that makes any sense...
anyway the food was good and all (i had my usual sweet and sour chicken with rice if anyones interested :P) but when we went in there was a group of 20-something-yr-olds sat at a table and as we walked past them, one nudged the other and they all started laughing, there was this one girl in particular who was smirking at me... how i wudv loved to go wipe that stupid smile off her face... i dont usually get miffed by such people but being ill doesnt really make one think as clearly as usual :? lol. ah well, whatever.

Yea basically - for the life of me I don't understand why they use it in the cooking process.
It's a fortified wine - which basically means they take grape juice and add grain alcohol to it (it's more refined than that naturally).
And since the alcohol get's burned off you are left with the grape juice.
...so why not just use grape juice?

Yea the fasting doesn't actually start until march since i'm only doing 30 days out of lent.
But the halal thing has been a couple weeks now and I sorta like it.
Especially when I was reading some of the dietary reasons why halal exists - lol not only did it confirm some of my previously held phobias but it gave me some new ones to obsess over.
The damned thing of it is I can't think of any challenges for him since there is nothing particularly grueling about Christianity (or at least not as it's practiced)
I suppose I could say "sell all of your stuff and disavow wealth" but seeing as my family doesn't precisely follow that one it would be hypocritical.
I'll win though - don't yall worry about that.
I can handle anything he throws.
As evidenced by that three point REJECTION I stuffed back in his face this morning.

considering your phobi's of dirt, you should feel right at home.
In America do they clean the meat? Most places have the habit of removing the fats etc from the meat, but apparently in the uk, the natives like to leave it on! and some like the taste of the blood in the meat...

I have always gone directly to a butcher - as opposed to a supermarket or something, so the cuts I get are always hand picked by moi.
And you can imagine how rigorous that is.
It depends on the animal too - you don't have bison but here they are plentiful and have far less fat than a cow, yet they are similar meat.
As a general rule I make sure all fat is cut off and the cuts I am getting have few veins of fat.
I hate fat.
