In pakistan they probably go to some poor person, and offer money for a kidney...
It is not fully ethical s you are relying on anothers misfortune, but at the same time, the money could be the lifeblood ofa whole family...

hmmm. This must indeed be a distressing time. A close friend of our family also has to have dialysis three times a week, she even went back home for kidney transplant last year but unfortunately it was not successful. Her health detiorated for a while but even worse was the psychological effect on her, she was really distraught. Alhamdulillah now her health is better, she goes for dialysis and subhanALLAH has even gone for umrah just last wednesday.
Hence I can understand that this is a stressful and worrying time. From the family friends experience the doctors are not butchers that we think they are, they carried out the operation well and did the best that was in their ability and even tried to make operation sucessful three times but it was not meant to be. Hence I think if Respected Muhtarama's father chooses a good medical team then its not necessarily gonna be a bad thing. I hope ALLAH grants him a cure before such a time and if it is best for him to have transplant may ALLAH make it blessed.
Advice. Remember ALLAH and make special dua regarding the father, May ALLAH accept it by virtue of this month and make the situation light and easy on all concerned. May ALLAH Rabbul izzat grant ALL who are diseased a pure and complete cure and place ease where before there was discomfort. ameen Ya Rabbe Muhammad salallahu alayhi wa sallam.
The problem is not about 'pakistani hospitals', but about 'hospitals'.
There are some good, some bad. research helps here.
But a concern as I mentioned before is the 'donor'.

INSHALLAH AMEEN, jazakalah 4 your DUAS med,
yea like admin said the concern is the doner, i donT know which hospital
my dad attending ...somewhere in ISLAMABAD,
my dad mentioned earlier that there were about 12 ppl waiting at the hospital to donate their kidneys, pretty amazing...and its true its the poor PPL who have no other way to get money for their living,
but i really wish he gets a transplant inshalah atleast ,he wont have to do dialysis 4 times a day

4 times! Tobah Tobah. I didnt think Muhtarama's father was in that bad a state. May ALLAH for sake of Holy Prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam grant him a perfect reward because 4 times a day is major. Ya ALLAH hum tere laakh laakh shukr karte hain tune hume sehat ata farmaya.

actually depending on situation openly donating is also a blessed act. At times the Sahabah Karaam donated openly and sometimes in a hidden manner so strictly speaking its not the case that hidden donation is always the more better.
Secondly, no1 knows who he is, he is anonymous and didnt give his name. So it is a hidden donation
Thirdly, ALLAH encourages us to compete with each other in good deeds, and giving money openly to encourage others is also an estabished practice.
So this comment about true modesty stands even if a person gives openly and without show. As that brother has.

Regarding hajj, I spoke with my Respected Ustad daamat barakatuhum abt it and He suggested that it will have adverse effect on my uni education and that I should excuse myself if I think that it will affect on my uni.
So I dont know, because Ustadji goes I should concentrate hard on uni. The other thing is I was complaining to Ustadji about how bad uni is and I thought He would tell me to leave, or try to get out of it, but Ustadji goes I have to stay there and get a first degree. And that I have to join with tableeghi jamaat and do gasht in the uni, he said that doing that will protect me about 85/90% inshaALLAH. Subhanallah my Ustadji is so wise and so great.
