Assalamualykum,
So with Ramadan creeping closer day by day, i was just curious, wondering about what people eat at sehri.
I read something once about the Prophet's pre dawn meal, saying it's sunnah to eat at least a date and drink some water , but i'm not sure where its from. Please correct me if i'm wrong though.
Anyhoo, what do you guys normally eat for Suhoor?
I normally have a bowl of cereal, Coco Pops or Cheerios,:D but iknow people who eat Chappatis (Roti) with curry. (Personally i could probably not be able to stomach that, that early)
*EDIT*: We may as well talk about iftari too now... I normally break my fast with dates and water, a lil' bit of fruit and then... Stuff down all the fried stuff....and maybe eat roti too
But thats just me what about you guys??
Let Za discussion BEGIN!!!
coco pops is totally the yummiest thing to eat at sehri!
"And do not throw yourself into destruction with your own hands." (Baqarah 195).
This topic has already begun? lol
You might wna edit it to include iftari too, as people normally end up talking about both.
Anyway I have cereal or roti

Pasta and tea. I underdid it and was hungry as soon as I woke up. Not gonna do tht again..(inshAllah)

What time did you wake up? Most likely your food will be digested by the time you wake up no matter what you eat.
I did feel hungry, but so far it has been much better than last year. Last year I was actually in pain cuz of the hunger! Then again, there's quite a few hours left!
