QU11: Explanation (Tafseer) of Surah Muzamil/Mudatthir

Synopsis
These two Surahs from the 29th chapter of the Qur’an, beginning with Surah Muzzamil, Allah redresses the Prophet (peace be upon him) to endure his trials and to remain patient by drawing in our examples to provide comfort and solace.

First, in it the Prophet (peace be upon him) has been instructed to the effect: "Arise during the night and worship Allah so that you may develop the capability to shoulder the heavy burden of Prophethood and to discharge its responsibilities." This Command given to the prophet (peace be upon him) when training was being imparted to the Prophet by Allah for this office.

Furthermore, the command of the Qur’an being recited in the night prayer and its conditions are also explained. In Surah Muddathir, the verses illustrate the first encounter with the Angel of Revelation in the Cave of Hira. The verses then further discuss the obstinate dislebelivers and their fate on the day of judgement.

Don't just do something! Stand there.

However, you are still a student.

Many students study and work at the same time so it's all cool.

I think they mean full-time students.

If you work full-time and only study part-time I doubt you get a discount.

Don't just do something! Stand there.
