"Thy Lord hath decreed that ye worship none but Him, and that ye be kind to parents. Whether one or both of them attain old age in thy life, say not to them a word of contempt, nor repel them, but address them in terms of honour. " Surah Isra [17:23]

So many of us unfortunately fail to achieve the standard set in this Ayah when we deal with our parents. What are the barriers preventing us from reaching this ideal? Conversely others feel their lives are completely controlled by their parents or parents in law, so how do they redress this imbalance? One of the keys to removing the barriers and readdressing the balance is to improve our relationship with our parents / parents in law. Utrujj invites you to this special interactive course taught by Dr Mobayed, a consultant psychiatrist and lecturer.

The course will focus on how to improve our relationship with our parents / parents in law drawing on Islamic teachings and psychological techniques.

It's a course which will benefit anyone with parents!
