You really don't look awful *Serious face*

Being absolutely pleased with the way that Allah has created us as individuals is something that I need to work and maybe that's what you, person who is using your smartphone or sitting infront of a PC or laptop needs to work on too.

We can say "Yeah, I'm happy with the way I am" to make it seem like we're a little grateful but it needs to be said with firm conviction. Everytime you look into your mirror, tell yourself that you're absolutely pleased, without a shadow of a doubt with the way that you were created. Say it to yourself every time you look in to your mirror!

Oh and whilst you're looking into your mirror, why not read a dua too! In Arabic it's اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ حَسَّنْتَ خَلْقِي فَحَسِّنْ خُلُقِي. Allahumma anta hasanta khalqi fahassin khuluqi. It means: O Allah, just as you have beautified my outward/physical appearance, then beautify my inward appearance (character) too.

We need to believe that we aren't ugly, less prettier, less beautiful, less handsome, less fit, less built than that guy across the road or that friend you met on the bus. We need to be pleased and satisfied that Allah has created us as unique individuals for a reason... what would life be like if we all looked exactly the same? lol.

Okay, that's enough blogging for one day. I have some coursework to get on with. If Looking to See is reading this then CHECKOUT Autograph. It has a 30 day trial I think. It's cool. Play around.

lol this reminds me of an old blog of mine which might've made me sound like I'm full of myself.

I've read that dua before but I really need to learn it off by heart. I should write it on a sticky and put it on my mirror.

Good reminder (Y)

Haha, that's the perfect idea. It'll become more of a habit in the long term.

For a while we had the duas for entering and leaving the house at the back of our front door. Then some time later.. it was removed because it looked out of place.. random peice of paper stuck with bluetac lol.
