We are talking about fate of people here on earth.
We KNOW all good people go to heaven, and all bad people go to hell. You don't have to reveal that to us.

yes Om but its all one long line isnt it pre birth state then birth then death then hell heaven its all one journey full of adventure. the one soul in all different states remains the one soul
Being good you will succeed, but that does not mean you not have a hard life.
Quite the opposite, you will be tested more. Your life will be harder. You will not beablke to turn away, as it will be in you to do the right thing, not the easy thing. That is hard.

The fact is that the silly furbal's first statement is simply not true:
Good people DON'T "always" have good time. Sometimes they suffer terrible fates.
If you do not complain it does not mean it is not hard. And even hardship can be a good thing, and a blessing.
Does not make it any less dificult.
Dave take your question to 'Omrow' topic.

I see some topics are destined to be hijacked.
Don. I will remind you again.
This topic is not about me.
Please stick to subjects of the threads. It spoils the discussions when the likes of you say anything anywhere.
Thanks to Seraph, we have an ideal "NO TOPIC" thread for saying anything you like.
One more thing: If you want me to reply, then you will have to re-introduce to me after your name change.
LilSis you are getting mixed up between dificulty and complaining.
They did not complain, They even saw things as blessings. However it was not the easy way.
Just a diference of semantics.

What she is now saying is that all the terrible fates that the so many Prophets suffered was actually a good thing.

So..what ur trying to say is that if people dont complain...and even THANK Allah for the hardship
that still means their having a tough time?
I disgree
why?
when the Prophet went to taif, the kids threw stones at him. He was bloodied. The Prophet did not complain.
You cannot say that is easy.
And the recieving of revelation was also painful at times.
We were taught how to overcome hardship, and how it is not always a curse, but also a blessing.
We whine at the smallest thing. Pious people, Awliya, and prophets etc do not. They thank Allah (swt) for his blessings and his mercy.

I know that as time passes so do the way I percieve things as well, what i consider hardship a couple of years ago i consider a blessing now as my views have changed and ofcourse vise versa what i consider a blessing maybe hardship for me now. This is due to the fact that my goals have changed and are changing all the time.

I agree.
When I look back , the "worst" times in my life also seem like a blessing to me today.
Time and experience alters people's perspections.
And the Prophet, Awliya's and Sufi's were blessed with wisdom. So they knew that there is hidden sweetness (i.e. reward in this world and hereafter) in the hardships they underwent.
i feel the opposite i always think that what i receive is what my own hands have sent forth. ie i shape my own fate thats why certain things happen because i deserve them by my own fault or making.
are we talking about opposites here or do you mean the same thing.
I totally agree with you Seems.
Its just certain things that I am fatalistic about.

did u ever read about the Prophets complaining about their hardships?
so if they didnt moan-why are u complaing?

I am "moaning" because of this little emotional outburst"
Which contradcits this emotional ourburst:
Only a woman can manage such blatant self-contradiction.
God !!
Omrow
i dont see the contraditions
yeh Prophets had it hard-but they didnt complain
so they didnt see it as "hardships"
they werent weak like us
common sense omro

I'll give you a clue.
Concentrate on your own word: "ALWAYS".

go back to ur blog writing and gospel reading Omro
ur better suited doing that stuff

The Lover is ever drunk with love;
He is free, he is mad,

Caught by our own thoughts,
We worry about every little thing,
But once we get drunk on that love,
Whatever will be, will be.

why dont u copy past the weird stuf in his thread

Omrow
my point was
the Prophets may have had it "hard" in our eyes but they didnt complain
Prophet Ayub was known to have said that he PREFERED the days of his illness
Our Prohet
CHOSE to be amongst the poor and not the rich
He was beaten but he only made dua for his followers
the sufi's CHOSE to give up sleep/food etc etc
in our eyes such stuff are "hard"
they they didnt complain
they have a diff threshold for pain and hardships
Omrow why did you stop blogging?
If you do not complain it does not mean it is not hard. And even hardship can be a good thing, and a blessing.
Does not make it any less dificult.

so how can they complain about having it "hard"
