MANCHESTER'S famous Curry Mile is to close early for the first time ever to deter troublemakers at the Muslim festival of Eid ul-Adha.
All 80 curry houses and takeaways on the small stretch of Wilmslow Road in Rusholme have agreed to shut their doors at 11pm in a move that will cost traders around £100,000.
It is the first time the Curry Mile has closed early, but restaurateurs believe the move is necessary to stop increasingly rowdy behaviour by young men celebrating the festival.
It's a shame that some people spoil it for others
My brother has gone to Wimslow Road.
I'm torn between wanting him to come home really late and with a few bruises so he gets a good telling-off and wanting to see him home early and safe.

Just out of interest Dave how many reps are you doing on the weight? Because that hell of a lot, most of the bigger bloke in my old gym used to be burn out at the weight and only manage 4-6 reps over 120kg, only a couple manage it comfortably over that weight.
Anyway I saw the last two episode of Lost yesterday, it sad it was probably the highlight of my Eid (which was still decent), but all the same what a finish. I knew that Micheal son was some point involve in the story. I don't know if i am able to wait the few month before the new series, it like in 3 months time. But the preview of the new series seem great.

Well im a decently large guy, I have been lifting since I was 15 (which was stupid and I don't recommend it for anyone). I have mad back problems as a result, but ive definitely gotten to the max I think my body type is going to be able to handle - maintaining that isn't so easy either.
I'm still doing military weight training - so basically I do 4 sets (plus a warmup) adding weight and dropping reps with each set, 10, 10, 8, 6. Usually when im maxing out I just go for as many as possible instead of 6 at the end - if I can comfortably do 8 I bump up 5 pounds next time, if I cannot I work my way up to it. Right now I just got back up to 320 and can do 3 reps, most of my power is coming from my triceps which I probably spend the most time on in the gym, skull crushers, and military dips especially.
I suppose if I just did it cold - well with a warmup set - but took out all the working up to it I could manage 8-10, but that's a great way to get arthritis and you really don't gain much strength.
I also use the Creatine elixir (the pills aren't worth it) which isn't illegal, as far as I know isn't unhealthy but definitely isn't considered "kosher" everywhere and gives you a notable extra boost - not in strength but in muscle recovery. I think it got pulled from the market but i've still got cases of the stuff an it works beautifully. Creatine w/ protein shakes really gets the job done, I literally can max out 3 times a week without feeling any serious muscle drain - even considering that I workout at 6am.
As for Lost things have been pretty awesome so far - but they keep holding off on new episodes, the time between the one yesterday and the one before it must have been at least 3 weeks, so it's easy to lose interest.

That is a heavy workout, personally i don't think i could do it anymore. I prefer a higher rep workout, I try to average 100 rep over 4-5 sets and making sure i do at least 12-15 rep on each set and not going over 100kg and a set weight on all my exercise. I think i benefit more from it, because i have the added advantage of keeping my speed but still maintaining enough power, i normally get stiff lifting heavy, plus i don't think i got the height to lift heavy i end up looking stupid and out of proportion for my size. But you seem proper dedicated, i got a mate who trains at 4am in the morning and take every suppliment possible, i could never do that, haven't got the motivation anymore, probably train 3 month in every year and it that time of the year again.
Lost, we just finish the first series, i guess we lucky in the UK we get a new episode every week, but we got like a 3 month break at the moment before the next series, but i guess they will show it all the way through like the first series. I just need to stop going onto the Lost website and looking at the spoilers.

Yea honestly I don't know how much longer i'll be able to keep it up - aside from time constraints, it is KILLING my back. When I was younger I had no idea what I was doing and lifted too much, too fast, and incorrectly - always arched my back and never brought the weight down low enough on bench or inclines. So now my back is screwed up, and i get all kinds of crazy arthritis probs in my elbows. I was thinking of switching to a high rep program like the one you are doing - a friend of mine does that "burn out" or "fade out" thing where you basically flip the triangle upside down - do a little less than your max ten times to start then gradually decline with weight and increase in reps, he's not as strong as me but hes got way better muscle endurance and dexterity.
It's really something you gotta stay at - and if there is somebody around who can either beat it into you or you've got really competitive friends - that's best. I'm lucky because i'm OCD. I have to do basically the same things at the same times everyday or I drive myself insane - that also benefits me in the weight room because I always manage to fit one more rep in if I want to stop on an odd number (don't ask).
lol you def need to stop looking at the spoilers, Season 2 is crazy - characters are getting killed off, i'm pretty sure the Island is haunted, and they've introduced some really cool new characters - consorts to the present characters.
Locke and his "similar" are the two best on the show.
I guess it's kind of unavoidable though... it's a big show and you are bound to run into fans talking about season 2 all over the internet.

Hi Admin.
why hello.
I take it you are bored...
"For too long, we have been a passively tolerant society, saying to our citizens 'as long as you obey the law, we will leave you alone'" - David Cameron, UK Prime Minister. 13 May 2015.
Pretty much... finished all my work.
lol just got back from "The Producers"
...I should go home.
Very good then... gnight.

I wouldnt expect a snob who thinks that 3 people need SEVEN bathrooms to understand how people can happily survive in smaller places
I thought coming round mine and tasting my cooking was the highlight of your eid :?
AS for Lost, im gutted that i havent seen the final two episodes coz it was eid and i was busy with family, unlike Yuit on eid we actually spend more time with family and less time with the television and PS2!!!
Well cant wait for the new season to start
I guess it's kind of unavoidable though... it's a big show and you are bound to run into fans talking about season 2 all over the internet.
lol I didn't say we actually need seven bathrooms. I realize that's a bit... over the top.
But come on 20 people in a house designed for comfortable living for 3!!
That's crazy!
You must reaaaally like each other
Holidays are for television and PS2!!!
Ya can't get your Gran Turismo or GTA on during the schoolyear afterall.
a three bedroom house is "standard" here for a family of 5-6
some have four bedrooms-some convert their attic into a bedroom
three bedrooms for us is more than enough
one room for mum n dad
big room for me and sis
lil room for bro
family only visits once a year-and when they do its no biggie if u have to sleep on the sofa for a few nights
but I wouldnt expect YOU to understand that
you share a room?!
What about privacy and studying and all that...
And i've slept on couches before! In really awful motels!
