Al-Azhar okays controversial book about Prophet Mohammed
Book, published in 1837 by Reverend George Bush, portrays Prophet Mohammed as 'imposter'.
The highest authority in Sunni Islam approved a book describing the Prophet as an "imposter" and Muslims as "locusts" that the Egyptian press continued Friday to attribute to the US president's great grandfather despite denials from Washington.
"The Al-Azhar Institute for Islamic Studies approved the book titled 'The Life of Mohammed, founder of the religion of Islam and of the Empire of the Saracens'," Egyptian newspapers announced on their front pages.
The book was published in 1837 by Reverend George Bush, whom Egyptian newspapers - including state-owned publications - have consistently presented as the current US president's great-grandfather.
But the government-run Al-Ahram daily said it had approved the book's publication "because it is a piece of documentation that paints a lively picture of the life of Prophet Mohammed."
Publication of Reverend Bush's work had initially been rejected by Al-Azhar and the turnaround puts an end to a year-long controversy.
An unnamed Al-Azhar official quoted in the official Al-Akhbar daily denied rumours that the publication was the result of US pressure.
"Al-Azhar does not bow to any pressure, whether foreign or local, when it comes to matters related to Islam," the cleric said.

Prime Minister of Israel doesn't trust his own ministers
Israel has banned cabinet ministers on bringing cell phones to cabinet meetings and placed a guard outside the room to check the ministers on arrival.
What a disgrace of a government.

😃 Funny how a senator who pleads guilty to charges of lewd conduct in a male public toilet, apparently for an easy life, regrets the plea at a news conference with his wife, Suzanne, at his side:

Truth is so hard for Kaafirs to swallow.
Freedom of Speech loving America gags their own Professor for telling the truth. Great Satan is full of double standards.
No more freedom for the University teacher, Norman Finkelstein.
God bless him.
This is how America treats its own citizens, and still claims it is a liberal country.

Mafia's 'Ten Commandments' found
Italian police have found what they say is a "Ten Commandments"-style code of behaviour for Mafia members, at the hideout of a captured Mafia boss.
The list was found during the arrest of Salvatore Lo Piccolo, the reputed new boss of the Sicilian Mafia.
It is thought to have been drawn up as a "guide to being a good mobster".
The Mafia's "Ten Commandments"
1. No-one can present himself directly to another of our friends. There must be a third person to do it.
2. Never look at the wives of friends.
3. Never be seen with cops.
4. Don't go to pubs and clubs.
5. Always being available for Cosa Nostra is a duty - even if your wife's about to give birth.
6. Appointments must absolutely be respected.
7. Wives must be treated with respect.
8. When asked for any information, the answer must be the truth.
9. Money cannot be appropriated if it belongs to others or to other families.
10. People who can't be part of Cosa Nostra: anyone who has a close relative in the police, anyone with a two-timing relative in the family, anyone who behaves badly and doesn't hold to moral values.

Chess boxing
Chess boxing is a hybrid sport which combines the sport of boxing with games of chess in alternating rounds. Chess boxing fights have been staged since the spring of 2003.
A match between two opponents consists of up to eleven alternating rounds of boxing and chess sessions, starting with a four-minute chess round followed by two minutes of boxing and so on. Between rounds there is a 1 minute pause, during which competitors change their gear. The form of chess played is "speed chess" in which each competitor has a total of twelve minutes for the whole game. Competitors may win by knockout, checkmate, a judge's decision or if their opponent's twelve minutes of chess time elapses. If a contestant doesn't make a move in the chessround, he will be issued a warning by the referee. At the second warning the contestant will be disqualified.

'They even try to get my mother to try to make me accept. But the man I marry needs to be tall, handsome and be a hard worker with a good heart
