How British do you feel?
I was just wondering how much you see this country as your own since most of us aren't white/English.
For some reason, I don't think it's 'right' for me to protest against the monarchy and try to get rid of them. It just feels like a very English thing and not really my place to try and get rid of them especially when they don't affect me in any way. Perhaps I only feel that way since I don't care for the Royal family either way.
I support Pakistan when they're playing anyone else in cricket.
Culturally I'm waaaaaaaaaay more asian than english.
Oh and I know all the words to the Pakistani national anthem but not the British one. I don't like the British anthem though.
On the other hand, I could never feel Pakistan was 'my' country. I feel very out of place there and when I come back is when I'm relieved to be home. And if there was any other sort of protest, maybe one against the government/proposed laws then I would back it, if I agreed with it.
And going be "your mother tongue is the one you dream in", My mother tongue is english!

Tenzile Erdoğan, mother of Turkish PM passed away.
I doubt many mothers out there can say they brought their children up as well as she did.
May God grant her a place in paradise.

Make a wish, what do you wish for?
Musab Ibn Zubair ibnul Awwam (RA), Urwah ibn Zubair ibnul Awwam (RA) and Abdul Malik ibn Marwan were gathered one day with Sayyidna Abdullah ibn Umar ibn Khattab(RA)
Musab ibn Zubair said; As we are next to the Kaa'ba let us all make a wish (ta manuw) and Allah may accept our wish through the blessing of this gathering and your responding with 'Ameen'
So they said to him, as you have suggested this, why don't you start by making your wish first.

No Jail For Mum Who Left Kids To Go Drinking
A woman who abandoned her two young children in a car at night while she went drinking has been given a suspended prison sentence
Kayleigh McNaughton, 21, was arrested after returning to her unlocked vehicle from a bar.
She had left her nine-month-old baby strapped into a car seat and her three-year-old son in the passenger footwell.
Police had been called to the scene by a worried passer-by.
Officers said she was unsteady on her feet and smelled strongly of alcohol when she emerged from the nearby bar in Rusholme, Manchester, just after 3.30am last August.

Treatment Of Dengue Fever Through Verses Of Holy Quran
Islam is a religion much more than mere religious teachings and principles. It is in fact a complete code of life that not only teaches people about religious obligations, but offers them a complete set of instructions to live their lives accordingly.

Human Rights Act might be scrapped
Home Secretary Theresa May has backed calls for the Human Rights Act to be scrapped.
In comments that will endear her to many Tories, she said she would "personally" like to see it go because of the problems it has presented the Home Office.
Mrs May told The Sunday Telegraph: "I'd personally like to see the Human Rights Act go because I think we have had some problems with it.
"I see it, here in the Home Office, particularly, the sort of problems we have in being unable to deport people who perhaps are terrorist suspects.
"Obviously, we have seen it with some foreign criminals who are in the UK."
But senior Lib Dems, including Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg and Energy Secretary Chris Huhne, have pledged the Act will stay.
Mr Clegg promised Lib Dem delegates at his party's conference last month that the Human Rights Act, which enshrines the European Convention on Human Rights in UK law, was "here to stay".
Mr Huhne suggested the issue, if forced, could topple the coalition.
"If Conservative backbenchers persist in wanting to tear up the European Convention on Human Rights, then I can foresee a time when this party would be extremely uncomfortable in coalition," he said.
Shami Chakrabarti, director of human rights organisation Liberty, said: "Modern Conservatives should think again about human rights values that were truly Churchill's legacy.
"Only a pretty 'nasty party' would promote human rights in the Middle East whilst scrapping them at home."
